The conversion of a gas power plant in Kirishi, Russia, to a combined cycle power plant reduces the use of natural gas by 104 g/KWh and increases the efficiency from 38% to 55%.
The SF7000 bogie for electric regional trains is more compact and 30% lighter than conventional models. This saves energy and substantially reduces track and wheel wear.
