¥  SeQng  up  of  project  structure  at  regional,  naConal  and  local  level  (Project  coordinaCon  unit,  (PCU),  project  management  Unit,  (PMU)  and  local  project  management  unit  (LMU)  respecCvely    

¥  Conduct  Farmers  ParCcipatory  AcCon  Research    (3  cycles)    

¥  Understand  the  paVern  of  change  among  different  groups  of  farmers

1.   MulC-­‐insCtuConal-­‐mulC-­‐stakeholders  networking  developed  and  strengthened  from  local  to  regional  level  ;  

2.   Science  based,  pro  poor  profitable  crop  management  pracCces  developed,  demonstrated  and  disseminated  on  larger  scale  in  4  LMB  countries;  

3.   Co-­‐generated  knowledge  and  learning  disseminated  and  pro-­‐poor  policy  briefs  with  emphasis  on  women  and  landless  developed  and  shared  with  policy  makers;  and  

4.    NaConal  research-­‐extension  capacity  strengthened  and  training  capacity  of  farmer  trainers,  naHonal  trainers  and  local,  involved  in  smallholder  farmer  extension  programme,  improved
