Introduction - ETV

• Connected By 25 – new provider

• Federal funds, state administered− Indiana Department of Child Services− Connected By 25

• Provides financial resources − former and current foster youth− post-secondary education costs

• Up to $5,000 per academic year

• Applicable educational expenses -

ETV Eligibility

• Foster care case closed on or after 18th birthday

• In foster care on the 18th birthday and age out

• In foster care and 17 years old or older and will

remain in care until 18th birthday

• Adopted or placed into kinship guardianship

from foster care after 16th birthday

• US citizen or qualified non-citizen

• Less than $10,000 in personal assets

ETV Requirements

• Students must initially apply before their 21st

birthday

• Accepted or enrolled in accredited

degree/certificate program

• Must maintain 2.0 GPA

• Apply online and submit supporting

documentation

• Funding ceases upon 23rd birthday
