The Bristile Roofing name has been proud to serve the Australian market for over three quarters of a century.

In 1929 Mr Lance Brisbane established the terracotta

division of our business in Perth, Western Australia. Thanks

to Mr Brisbane, from whom the company took its name

and the hard work of dedicated employees throughout

the years, the Bristile brand grew to be synonymous with

building products of the highest quality. After they were

first marketed in the late 1940’s, roof tiles quickly became

the roofing material of choice due to their durability,

profile variation and selection of colours.

started serving the Australian market over 75 years ago,

have combined. Now known as Bristile Roofing, we are

There have been a lot of changes over the years, however

one thing that has not changed is our desire to provide our

customers with the very best quality products and service.

Our focus on quality gives us the confidence to provide a

written installation warranty on concrete and terracotta

products. Bristile terracotta products are also covered by

our famous “Colour for Life” warranty that states they will

Bristile Roofing is proud to supply La Escandella, a stunning range of European style clay roof tiles developed for projects of distinction. Styled in Europe, influenced by Spain and now available in Australia, La Escandella brings European style to Australian roofing.

The Visum range creates the appearance of small slate

tiles but without the same cost. With the face of the

Visum tile giving the appearance of three smaller tiles,

Visum gives a slate tile appearance, without suffering

the lengthy installation times and the associated costs.

The Planum range is a contemporary flat tile that is

arguably the best quality flat clay tile available in the

Australian roofing industry. The use of high quality

European clays means that the finish on the tile is sleek

and smooth.

The Curvado range, comes in either an Aged Range or

a Glazed Range, and captures a look of grandeur with

a distinctively European style. Available in two sizes, the

Curvado tile has a variety of features which guarantee

enduring popularity with home builders seeking a

European style. The pre weathered or aged colours in

particular create a distinctive finish, reminiscent of roofs

seen on many of Europe’s great architectural wonders.

Manufactured from the highest quality clays, the

Curvado range also incorporates a modern interlocking

design which replicates the traditional pan and cover

tile that has been a hallmark of European and

Mediterranean architecture for centuries.

The Medio Curva is a roof tile used through the ages,

reintroduced in colours designed for the new world.

Traditionally, this two piece tile, also referred to as ‘Mission

Barrel’, was the most frequently used roof tile in Europe

and in Spanish colonial buildings in the new world.

Today the Medio Curva tile is used in the construction of

new homes, due to the beauty and wide variety of

colours available, or on existing projects to restore

historic roofs to their former beauty.

As with all clay tiles, La Escandella offers colours that will

remain colour-fast for the life of the tile, as well as

strength and longevity as demonstrated by their use on

European marvels prominent since antiquity, and sound

insulation that ensures the noises outside stay there.

PlanumAesthetics and functionality are brought together in the Planum range, a collection of tiles that combines a traditional roofing material with contemporary architectural style.

Planum creates a look of simplicity and elegance with aged and monotone colour options developed to complement the sleek, refined shape of the tile. Due to it’s innovative design and size, the Planum tile is faster and easier to install, lowering installation time and costs. Furthermore the highly weatherproof design means it can be applied to roof pitches as low as twenty degrees.
