Davis introduction is self-fruitful and requires 700 chill hours. Once again, a new fruit type from the genius of Floyd Zaiger. is taste-test favorite is a cross between a plum and a cherry, giving it the sweetness of a cherry, combined with that summer fresh plum zing. Much larger than a cherry, but slightly small for a plum, this precocious and prolific variety will hang on the tree for over a month, and the colorful fruit make Sweet Treat a true ornamental. Tested as 46MB583. A sister plant to the popular Pink Lady selection, Sundowner has a sweet, crispy, white flesh and excellent flavor. Considered a late harvest variety ripening from October well into winter in most areas. Does well under extreme fruit growing conditions such as southern fruit growing districts and deserts with little or no damage to the fruit. Chill requirement of 200 to 300 hours with high chill adaptability. Self-fruitful Fall Gold (Raspberry)– is everbearing variety is sweet and large with golden yellow color. It is a winter hardy selection that harvests in July through the summer months. USDA zones 3-8. Black Butte (Blackberry)- Selected by the USDA in 1996. It has a very large berry, to 2” in length. Harvests in June, several weeks ahead of common varieties. Well suited to warmer climates. USDA Zones 6-10 Jewel (Black Raspberry) – Strong producer of flavorful, medium to large berries. Very adaptable. Early season, beginning in late May to early June depending on climate. USDA zones 5-8. Black Satin (Blackberry) – Vigorous, very productive plant. Large berries. Mid- season producer, July in most areas. Requires some support due to heavy cropping and limber plant structure. USDA zones 6-9. Nova Red (Raspberry) – Early ripening, disease and heat resistant. Medium to large berries with a mild sweet flavor. Can bear multiple crops in some climates. Cold hardy. USDA zones 3-8. Willamette Red (Raspberry) – Long time favorite and predominant red cultivar in the industry for decades. e large, dark red, sweet/tart berries are popular for both fresh eating and preserves. Some support required. USDA zones 5-8. Boysenberry ornless (Blackberry x Raspberry) – Intense flavor, fast growing. Vine-like structure, requires support. Good for fresh eating, canning or syrup.
