❖ The Support Services Management Plan (SSMP) describes the services provided by the SMTS Optimal Services (SMTS) team and is an imperative element of a ship’s routine operations and also forms an integral component of a ship’s maintenance mechanism.
❖ The SSMP includes plans and reports, as required, to efficiently manage ship maintenance and operations and assists ship owners and operators to maintain their vessels and keep them in a seaworthy condition with maximum efficiency, maximum availability and minimum maintenance costs, by executing a maintenance program and repairs in accordance with international maritime standards
