The Solar Revolution

All energy sources known to mankind derive ultimately from the sun, except for nuclear energy. With increasing concerns about conventional forms of energy, attention and focus is shifting to the ultimate source of most of the energy known to man - the sun! Solar power is scalable and decentralised, making it an ideal source of energy in rural off-grid situations, especially remote locations not reached by the grid. Applications vary from basic amenities such as lighting to agricultural applications, small businesses, community development and domestic applications.
