Blank modules are available and consist of modular caps

with no electrical function. They have connecting springs

which allow for their installation on the supporting frame

next to the devices: they complete the installation when

the supporting frame is not entirely filled with devices. They

allow for free space in case of possible future expansions of

the system.

The wall plates are automatically

grounded when installed on the

supporting frame per UL and national

electric code requirements. The

supporting frame has a metal plate

leading to a conductor that provides

grounding. On the back of the wall

plate are two small clips that

guarantee contact with the metal

plate of the supporting frame. Wiring

The customer can request look

variations of the AXOLUTE cover

plates listed in our catalog. Four types

of customizations are possible.

1. pad printed

All cover plates and devices may

be supplied with customized logos,

symbols or labeling using one or

more colors.

2. inner frame

The chrome inner frame can be

supplied in different colors: Aluminium

and Anthracite (the same as AXOLUTE

mechanisms), Bright or Satin Gold.

3. COLOR

We can supply:

- rectangular cover plates in the

typical colors of the elliptical cover

plates: Aluminium, Anthracite,

and Black

- elliptical cover plates in the typical

colors of the rectangular cover

plates: White, Red, Green, and Blue.

4. WOOD

We can supply:

The supporting frames allow for the installation of as many modules as will fit in the space provided. in this case, 3 single module rocker switches are installed. The devices snap in place and can be removed using a screwdriver.

Should there be empty spaces, it is possible to complete the installation by using blank modules. This is useful where there is a possibility for future expansion of the system. in this example, one blank module is used in the center of the supporting frame.

The supporting frames allow for use of devices occupying the space of a ½ module. This is useful, for example, to install a single module device to which a 2 module cover has been applied. See the example in the picture.

A ½ blank module is available to fill in as shown in the picture.

The GFCI’s place in the circuit determines if it protects other receptacles in the circuit. Placing the GFCI in position A will also provide protection to “load side” receptacles B and C. UNIT DEScrIpTIONThe AXOLUTE Hx4420US Universal Dimmer provides dimming of various lighting load types. When used in conjunction with optional AXOLUTE Hx4421US Multilocation Controller, the Hx4420US offers control of a dimming circuit from multiple locations.

INSTAllATION OF bTIcINO DIMMErSMost BTicino wiring devices are modular so that multiple devices can be installed in various combinations into single gang or 4 inch square junction boxes. The benefit of this type of installation system is more flexibility in installing multiple devices and a reduced device footprint on the wall.

The one exception in the BTicino U.S. range is the Hx4420US Universal Dimmer. This device is what we call a monoblock and can only be installed as a single device per

This programmable thermostat is a flush-mount device usable for heating and cooling systems and is fully programmable to allow multi-hour and multi-day settings. A standard program is already built in (but can be changed to suit the user’s needs) or a new one can be customized through a simple programming procedure.

A large backlit display allows the user to view the program, the conditions of the system and the indoor temperature at any given time. Heating and cooling system with ON/OFF controlIf you want to control both the heating and cooling system, set up a two-way switch for selecting Summer/Winter, as shown in the picture. When the season changes, set the two-way switch to the required position and switch over to Summer/Winter on the thermostat.

If it is necessary to lock the thermostat in place (e.g. public places), use the screw supplied at the back of the base.
