REMARKS:With the centre cockpit arrangement, the ample deck aft calls out for comfortable deck chairs for that daily application of sundowners. The bow offers room and to spare for sunbathers and water toys alike. The stroll can continue right off the stern into the water, as ISLAND SKIPPER is equipped with a custom dive ladder that is more robust than a few docks I've tied up to. Lockers are fitted on the deck and in the enormous lazarette to hold well over a dozen dive tanks and assorted gear.
Going below from the cockpit is entering a living room, rather than a cramped salon area. Believe me; the picture above does not do this well‐lit area justice. The boat is loaded with opening hatches, so island breezes can sweep through the boat. Should they hesitate, a large air‐conditioning system cools the salon and galley areas. There are two guest cabins forward with a well‐appointed head. Again, light and ventilation abound. A separate air‐conditioning system deals with this area, which can be closed off from the salon. Heading aft across the salon, the galley is a step down to starboard. Bigger than most apartment kitchens, this is one galley where counter space and storage is not an issue. The AC/DC refrigeration makes life easier at sea and the dock. The propane stove and oven make cooking fast and easy. Proceeding aft, there is a cabin to the port side. With an en suite head and two bunks, it can accommodate a crew, the kids, the in‐laws, a nice workshop or more storage than you can use. Again facing aft…..

Afewotherdetails….Let's see: a sturdy Perkins 4.236 engine (she moves well under power as well as sail!), a generator to help you keep your cool when the breeze drops at night, an autopilot, radar, 365‐gallon water tank capacity and a 250 gallon per day watermaker to keep them full (bathtub, remember?), and furling genoa and mainsails. A fast dinghy is ready to take you ashore, exploring, diving or skiing: a 14' catamaran with a 40 HP outboard.
