Fileserver installations in 2005

A number of schools have had Windows, Apple and Novell fileservers installed this year.

Sydney Region has installed more than 40 Windows 2003 fileservers this year as part of the first stage of standardisation of systems across the Region.

There is a core DET, Sydney Region standard structure that needs to be maintained on these fileservers.

In order to maintain a supportable server structure it is required that schools contact School Support to discuss any proposed change to the installed structure.
