Specialization:- In the fourth semester specialization papers will be introduced. Each student shall

have to opt for two (2) specialization groups consisting of three (3) paper/each. Totals

specialization papers to be opted being six (6) are spread over equally in the 4TH

, 5th

and 6th

semester. The 1st paper for each specialization group selected shall be studied in 4

th semester. The

2nd

and 3rd

papers of that specialization groups shall be studied in the 5th

and 6th

semester

respectively.

MODULITIES:

Each student is required to undertake a short project relating to the issue concerning trade,

commerce, industry, corporate governance and corporate affairs as the case may be. The topic

of the project shall be allotted by the designated teacher under whose guidance the project

shell be completed, during the fourth semester so that the students get enough time during

summer vacation and the fifth semester to get the project completed. Departmental/ Affiliated

Institution and each student shall present a seminar on his/her project. The project report be

evaluated by the internal expert appointed by the Head of the Department/ Director of the

Institute along with the seminar.

Further, each student will be required to present a seminar, on a project assigned to him/her

by a teacher in- charge of seminar in fifth semester in terms of the requirement of Paper No

503 mentioned above, lasting approximately for one hour as 5 minutes for opening by

Chairperson, 30 minutes for presentation of seminar 20 minutes for discussions (questions put

up by students and staff) and 5 minute for summing up of proceeding by the chairperson. The

marks shall be awarded on predetermined criteria.
