Overview
The Symantec Voucher Center (SVC) application supports a reselling method based on vouchers. A Symantec administrator sets up the partner company as an LKWeb user, including user accounts. In LKWeb, the partner user or reseller creates vouchers to sell to customer users. The reseller sends the voucher document to the customer. The voucher document entitles the customer to specific Symantec software and includes instructions on how to find and access the SVC site. In SVC, the customer redeems the vouchers to get Symantec license entitlements.
Resellers and customers can redeem vouchers. Users can redeem multiple vouchers for a given sales order.
After redeeming the vouchers, users can download media or request CDs for the product using the File Connect site.
There is no charge for requesting a CD.
Both resellers and customers can redeem vouchers associated with their account; however, only customers own the license keys.

Accessing the Voucher Center Application
1. Navigate to http://licensing.symantec Licensing Portal.
2. Log on to the Licensing Portal.
3. Click Voucher Center. Result: The SVC home page appears.
Redeeming a Voucher 1. In the Sales Order Number field of the SVC home page, enter a valid sales order number.
2. Click Continue.
Result: The Redeem Your Vouchers page appears.

3. In the Voucher Numbers list, enter voucher numbers for the specified sales order number.
You can enter a maximum of 30 vouchers for one transaction.
4. Optionally, in the Reseller Name drop-down list, select the reseller from whom you received the voucher.
5. Click Continue.
Result: The Select Install-At Customer page appears.
6. Perform one of the following tasks:
• Select an existing customer already linked to your account from the drop-down list.
a. Click Continue.
Result: The Install-At Address Search Page appears.
b. Go to the Redeeming Vouchers for an Existing Customer section below.
• Enter your Symantec customer number.
a. Click Verify Customer Number. Result: A results page appears.

• Select Create a New Customer
a. Enter a customer name.
b. Click Continue.
Result: The Create an Install-At Contact and Address page appears.

Redeeming Vouchers for an Existing Customer
1. Enter search criteria for an existing address.
2. Click Show Addresses.
You can create a new address by clicking the Address and Contact Creation Page link and entering the address information in the Create an Install-At Contact and Address page.
3. To select an existing address, click the Select link.
Result: The Install-At Contact Search Page appears.

4. To filter contacts associated to an address, enter search criteria and click Show Contacts.
Result: A search results page appears.
If there are no contacts, you can create a new contact by clicking the create a new contact link and entering the contact information in the Create an Install-At Contact and Address page. For information on this page, go to the Redeeming Vouchers for a New Customer section below.

5. To select a contact, click the Select link.
Result: The Confirm Voucher Redemption page appears, which includes customer and contact information; purchaser information; and voucher, product, and support information.

6. After reviewing the information and making any corrections, click Redeem Vouchers.
Result: The Vouchers Redeemed page appears.
7. To download Symantec media, order a CD, or view your updated list of redeemed vouchers,
in the Media Retrieval region, click the view a list of vouchers link.
Result: The Voucher Search Results page appears.

8. To view a particular voucher, click View Details.
After redeeming the voucher, Symantec sends you an email with ELS serial numbers, support identifiers, support certificates, and information about generating a license key in the License Management center.

Redeeming Vouchers for a New Customer
1. Enter contact and address information in the required fields and in the optional fields as
appropriate.

2. Click Continue.
Result: The confirmation page appears.
3. Click Redeem Vouchers.
Result: The Vouchers Redeemed page appears.
4. To download Symantec media, order a CD, or view your updated list of redeemed vouchers, in the Media Retrieval region, click the view a list of vouchers link.
Result: The Voucher Search Results page appears.
5. To view a particular voucher, click View Details.

Searching for a Redeemed Voucher 1. In the License Portal home page, click Voucher Center.
Result: The SVC home page appears.
2. Click Voucher Management. Result: The Voucher Management Home Page appears.
3. Enter search criteria and click Search.

Associating a Voucher to an Account You can associate a voucher that you did not redeem to your account. This entitles you to view and manage the voucher.
1. In the SVC home page, click Voucher Management. Result: The SVC home page appears.
2. In the Voucher Number field of the Associate Voucher with Account region, enter a redeemed voucher number.
3. In the Sales Order Number field, enter a sales order number.
4. Click Associate Voucher. Result: The Voucher Details page appears.
