OVERVIEWSYNC 2111 is a compact and rugged Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) which can be used for applications that control and monitor the distribution grid, involving distribution feeders, auto reclosers, sectionalizers, disconnection switches, ring main units, capacitor banks and distributed energy resources. SYNC 2111 has support for IEC 61850/DNP3.0/IEC104 communication and IEC 61131 Programming standards which makes the RTU smart-grid-ready with multiple communication interfaces and option for integrated cellular modem.
