What is SysTrack

Dashboard?

SysTrack Dashboard provides

customized views, or dashboards, of real-time data, offering insights into SysTrack

data as well as external databases. These dashboards can display this data in a variety

of formats, including a grid, several types of charts, gauges, and other visualizations.

The user can interact with the dashboard by providing input on selections and

modifying filter criteria, and customizing information displayed in charts.

Dashboards are created using the SysTrack Dashboard Builder and can be viewed

using the SysTrack Dashboard Viewer and in SharePoint.

SysTrack Dashboard presents data to consumers in

an easy-to-use and easy-to-understand manner.

Through its intuitive interface, users can customize

their information search and follow a natural flow to

drill down to additional reports, websites, or other

SysTrack components.

SysTrack Dashboard can be used to create summary

dashboards which, when combined with information

from multiple external sources, serve as a platform

to allow viewers a workflow for immediate insight

across data silos. Users experience a customized

dashboard interaction as their selections and choices

are saved automatically.

Additionally, users can mark dashboards as Favorites

and return quickly to these and other dashboards

they have recently viewed. This provides an

unparalleled opportunity for operational

management with real-time feeds both from

SysTrack and other components to provide visibility

across the enterprise.

Finally, an innovative tagging system is employed to

provide immediate search results, greatly reducing

the time spent trying to find reports or views specific

to a particular interest.

By giving IT professionals the ability to create their

own custom reports rather than utilizing canned or

built-in views, SysTrack Dashboard fills a natural gap

in existing technologies. This means that if the data

exists, it can be visualized without having to wait for

a new report or graph to be added to the product.

additional processing nodes or expensive storage

hardware as it simply uses SysTrack’s collection

system as a host. Notably, the dashboards created in

SysTrack may also be integrated directly with

SharePoint through native support built into the tool.

Use and Manageability

SysTrack Dashboard provides an industry-unique

interface for quickly developing intricate dashboards

through a simple drag and drop UI. Using intuitive

building blocks, the Dashboard Builder allows even

users that are unfamiliar with the system to produce

actionable reports quickly and accurately.

Creation and exploration of data is made easier by

the ability to automatically generate queries,

providing a quick way to simply select data of

interest and build a data source for an end-user.

Dashboards can be imported and exported between

systems and downloaded from the Lakeside support

portal as new ones are developed by Lakeside

technical experts.

The application is entirely web-based. This means

that any modern browser can simply load the page

and provide a user immediate access to the

Dashboard interface without the need for complex

client-side installation. The integration with other

data sources is similarly streamlined, requiring only

the connection specifications to pull that data into

the dashboard.

Performance and Scalability

SysTrack Dashboard scales to manage data across

even the largest enterprises. Tying this functionality

with the patented SysTrack DataMine provides a

wealth of on-demand information that covers tens of

thousands of out-of-the-box, immediately available

data points. This is all without the need for additional

processing architectures or nodes, meaning that the

system is not tied to components that are expensive

to scale.

Additionally the web application has been developed

to be as lightweight as possible, using no additional

client-side embedded components. This minimal

client-side design coupled with the distributed

computing and analysis used with the SysTrack

DataMine results in an extremely responsive, fast-

loading user interface.
