Project Introduction

Nowadays,3D printer can print out many things with great details, like clothes,

models, and even some machine elements. Shenzhen as a developed city in

China, always appeal to many star-up or Mak-er. The policy in Shenzhen is also

encourage people work on technology. Students form Shenzhen University are

dare to take more challenge and most of them are willing to do more for our

society. Two graduates from Shenzhen University are working on research and

development on 3D print technology.

As we all know, our limbs play a very important role in our dairy life. But some

kids haven’t an able-limb when they born. Their enable body make them suffer a

lot during their growth. Most of them hope to get a hand which can make them

feel more comfortable. But traditional prosthesis costs a lot and need to be made

to order. Not many families can afford it, and kids have to change this kind of

prosthesis when they grow up. So we want to use 3D printer to make a prosthesis

for them, which will cost only 200-300RMB and kids don’t need operation. If you

join us, you will have chance to get close to these cute kids and know more about

this special group which really need our care. And you will design and assemble

3D printed prosthesis for those kids with our team and volunteer from other

countries for free. And we will get feedback from those families about their

adaption to develop our project.

Hope you will join us to give them a hand:)
