Las juntas en dos piezas “Duofit” se emplean para reparaciones y derivaciones permanentes sin interrupción de servicio:• tuberías de campanas de fibrocemento• campanas o juntas express de tuberías de fundición gris o esferoidal• campanas de PVC, GRP, acero• reparación de componentes ya instalados, como por ejemplo juntas, collarines, acoplamientos
Ventajas:• excavaciones reducidas• sin interrupción del servicio• sin necesidad de vaciar las tuberías• sin necesidad de cortar las tuberías• tiempos de instalación rápidos y bajos costes de instalación - sin necesidad de herramientas especiales• proporcionan una reparación definitiva
Las juntas Duofit están disponibles en las siguientes versiones:• versión HP (High Pressure) para aplicaciones de alta presión (max 100 bar);• versión LT (Light Pressure), calibrada sobre el diámetro exterior de la tubería a reparar.
DUOFIT couplings in two shells provide permanent repairing and tapping fittings without interruption of service of:• asbestos cement sockets• sockets or express couplings made of cast or ductile iron pipes• PVC, GRP, Steel pipe sockets• repairs of already installed components like couplings, collars, fittings
Advantages:• limited excavations• no service interruption• no need to empty the mains• no pipe-cutting• quickest installation times and low costs of installation – no need of special equipment• provide definitive repair

La familia de productos de Nova Siria se enriquece con un modelo importante e innovador: la junta MULTIGRIP.Esta tipología productiva representa un paso adelante más en la tecnología de unión de tuberías que requieren un sellado autoblocante.La técnica de producción de la junta permite por un lado cumplir con las exigencias económicas cada día más apremiantes del cliente y por el otro mejora el rendimiento de la gama PIPE LOCKING, ya presente en el programa productivo de la empresa.La amplia tolerancia de 30 milímetros, el empleo de materiales de primera calidad, la separación entre bloqueo mecánico y bloqueo hidráulico, la flexibilidad productiva adaptada a las exigencias especificas del cliente, la posibilidad de empleo con tuberías de materiales diferentes (PE, fundición, acero), la ausencia de fatigantes trabajos de preparación de las tuberías son características de toda la producción de Nova Siria que encuentran en el modelo Multigrip su mejor expresión.Como de costumbre Nova Siria se ha centrado en las situaciones más críticas y difíciles de manejar: los diámetros de notables dimensiones. NOVAGRIP es una innovadora tecnología de conexión de tuberías por medio de una camisa de reparación de polietileno. Cuando la reparación se lleva a cabo sobre una tubería de plástico de paredes delgadas, una combinación entre una camisa de refuerzo y una serie de tornillos autoblocantes “Novagrip” representa el método mejor para unir la tubería reparada con otros componentes o bien para unir dos tramos de tuberías reparadas. Una serie fabricada a medida de tornillos autoblocantes garantiza el bloqueo de la camisa de refuerzo, evitando así cualquier tipo de movimiento en el interior de la tubería principal.Una doble junta de estanqueidad – una en la camisa y otra en la tubería a reparar - garantizan una impermeabilidad absoluta, tanto en el interior como en el exterior, previniendo así la infiltración de agua entre la tubería y la camisa de plástico.
NOVAGRIP is an innovative connection technology between rehabilitating polyethylene liner ends. When existing pipeline rehabilitation is realized with a thin-walled plastic pipe, a combination of a reinforcingliner ring and a NOVAGRIP style set of grippers provide the best way to connect the rehabilitatedpipeline and other equipment or between sections of rehabilitated pipeline. A tailor-made set of grippersensure that the rehabilitating liner is restrained so as to avoid its movement inside the main pipe. A double gasket – one on the liner and one on the host pipe – ensure the total water-tightness bothinside and outside thus preventing any fluid getting in between the host pipe and its plastic liner.

La serie de juntas SMART de Nova Siria se enriquece con un nuevo modelo de junta con dispositivo de BLOQUEO con tornillos independientes en acero templado y bloqueo separado con respecto al sellado hidráulico.La junta SMART JOINT PIPE LOCKING nace de la experiencia madurada en años de instalación de la más tradicional Multisize/Largesize y, al igual que esta, convierte en fácil, rápida y segura la unión de tuberías que trasportan agua en ACERO,FUNDICIÓN, PE y PVC con diámetros diferentes y extremos lisos o bridados.Como toda la producción de Nova Siria, las juntas Smart PIPE LOCKING están recubiertos con RILSAN NYLON 11. Esta tipología de recubrimiento termoplástico garantiza una óptima fuerza de adherencia a las superficies metálicas, una escasa absorción de la humedad, una buena resistencia a la intemperie, una elevada resistencia térmica, una notable absorción de las vibraciones y no requiere el empleo de otras protecciones a realizar en obras, como por ejemplo recubrimientos termoretráctiles, cintas protectoras o recubrimientos de betún. RILSAN NYLON 11 garantiza además una excelente resistencia:• al agua • a la niebla salina • a la protección catódica • a los hidrocarburos y a un gran número de productos químicos
The Nova Siria SMART series production range has been integrated with END-RESTRAINTS with hardened steel independent grippers and with locking separate from hydraulic closing. The SMART JOINT PIPE-LOCKING cou-pling has been developed after years of experience in installations of standard style Multisize/Largesize couplings and provides an easy, fast and safe connection of pipes made of STEEL, CAST AND DUCTILE IRON, PE (polyethylene) and PVC with differend outside diameters and plain or flanged ends used to convey water.As all the Nova Siria production range, these SMART JOINT PIPE-LOCKING couplings are coated with Rilsan Nylon 11.This type of thermoplastic coating guarantees a considerable force of adhesion to metal surfaces, limited absorbtion of humidity, good resistance to weather conditions, high resistance to heat, considerable absorbtion of vibrations and does not require additional protection during installation such as heat-shrink linings, pro-tection tapes or bitumen linings.RILSAN NYLON 11 also guarantees a considerable resistance to:• water• saline mist• cathodic disbonding• hydro carbons and a large range of chemical products

Instrucciones para el montaje de la junta SMART JOINT PL:NOTA - No es necesario el desensamblaje de las piezas que la componen1) Limpie la superfi cie de trabajo en los extremos de las tuberías.2) Coloque la junta en los extremos de las tuberías y proceda con la inserción.3) Centre el borde de la junta en cada extremo de la tubería.4) Cierre los tornillos en cruz para que las bridas se queden paralelas, garantizando así la correcta compresión de la junta.5) Cierre los tornillos autoblocantes6) Verifi que el par de apriete después de la presurización de las tuberías.
Par de apriete tornillos: Tornillos M12.Desviación angular máxima entre las tuberías: 4º en cada extremoTemperatura máxima de servicio: 70° C.
Este producto se tiene que instalar de acuerdo con las instrucciones de montaje de NOVA SIRIA.
SMART JOINT installation instructions:Please read the following instructions before installation.Note: it is not necessary to dismantle the SMART JOINTS before installation.1. Clean the pipe ends in the area where gaskets will seat.2. Position the coupling on spigot ends and slide it onto the pipe.3. Centre the coupling with respect to each spigot end.4. Lock the bolts in a criss-cross fashion keeping the followers parallel to one another so as to ensure a correct compression of the gasket.5. Test the recommended torque after pressure has been given to the pipeline.
Recommended torque: M12 bolts: 40 N/m.Maximum angular defl ection: 4° on each side.Maximum working Temperature: 70° C.
These products have to be installed according to NOVA SIRIA installation instructions.

1. Clean the pipe ends in the area where gaskets will seat.
2. Position the coupling on spigot ends and slide it onto the pipe.
3. Centre the coupling with respect to each spigot end.

contención en la brida de compresión.
Esta peculiaridad de diseño garantiza, en fase de
montaje y cierre, un perfecto centraje de la junta con
respecto a la tubería y una presión uniforme de las
bridas de compresión sobre la junta de estanqueidad.

All SMART JOINTS have a gasket restraining
shoulder in the compression followers. This simple
device ensures an effective centring of the gasket
on the pipe surface and a uniform pressure of the
followers on the gaskets.
