•TeaHouse of Wehmais has been established in june 2010 and opened to the clients in sebtember 2010

•Enterpriser is charging the company and owns the business, the legal form of enterprise is registered business

•There are working one regular worker and the enterpriser herself aroud the year

•In the summertime their have also four seasonal worker (open every day)

MARKET AND COMPETITION SITUATION

•TeaHouse of Wehmais is offering and selling loose tea, tea for drink and sweet and salty bakery products made by tradition English style, e.g. Afternoon Tea

•The space is done out in Anglo-style with rose wallpapers and cut-glass chandelier

•You can also buy some honey, marmalade, chocolate, teaspots and other things having something to do with a tea

•TeaHouse is specialised in the English tea tradition. Theirs knowledge is in tea

•There are no other companies with the same kind of business idea in Finland, TeaHouse is the first and only English tea room

•They are baking all the bakeries themself and are not using any half-finished products at all

•Because the business idea is so special the company is not competing with the local coffee bars but more bigger area

•TeaHouse of Wehmais has been built to the old barn. In the other part of the building there is a clothes shop called Butiken på landet. Butiken på landet is selling quality, unique European-style clothes. Because these to companies are in the same building they are like a partners. For exampel the groups of travellers are often visiting the both companies

•The other important partner is Charms of Saimaan which is network of marketing in tourism

INNOVATION CASE

•TeaHouse is offering traditional English tea with English-style bakeries so the new ideas are also based on that concept

•The company is trying to mix a tea tradition, seasons and feast days, e.g. Easter, Christmast

•In the future there is an idea to create meeting service which is offering place and food for your meeting

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS

•Because the business is quite young it is hard to estimate did the present economical crises affect into it

• In the innovation process there can be faced things like:• Finish people are may not be ready for a tea culture. The marketig is important• Does the people get bored and is there clients enough?
