Geoscience, 3D projections Geological Survey of Victoria

The Geological Survey of Victoria (GSV), part of the Victorian Government, will show 3D projections of Victoria’s geology, including local geology, on the hour, every hour.Geologists will present a 20 minute 3D session and Q&A.Attendees will be able to view Victoria’s geology (surface and below the ground) and gain an understanding of what makes the Otway geological basin unique.

Dash robots & spheros Woolsthorpe Primary School

Hands-on fun and interactive workshops coding dash robots and spheros and using Makey-Makey kits, elements of 3D print design. Students will also display models and work they have been doing in areas of Discovery Learning, STEAM and Maker Club projects at school.

Robotics demonstration with 10 different Makeblock Robots. Programming, electronics, and drone demos with a display of student work such as Mood Lamps, Distance detectors and Reflex games. Students will be on hand to discuss what they have created.

Have you ever wondered what happens to the items you flush down your toilet or drain? During this interactive workshop including multimedia, activities and games, you will learn about the underground network of pipes, how Wannon Water’s engineers and scientists treat the three Ps – poo, pee and (toilet) paper, and discuss the impact of foreign objects on the system.

VR bikes: This installation combines a sensor laden bike to track every move with cutting edge Virtual Reality goggles to deliver a suite of bicycle powered games for a crowd of all ages.Unicycle puppets: Challenge your opponent to a duel. The faster you go on the treadmill the faster your unicyclist will ride. But it’s a match of skill as well as endurance.
