Welcome: How to Use this Magazine To get the most out of this magazine and navigate it more effectively, use this guide for assistance.

Step One: On the next page, you will find the listing of the Six Spiritual Locations. Use this page to either remind yourself or help you name where you are in your spiritual life. Doing this as a first step will assist you in choosing programs that will best support and encourage you! Step Two: On pages 4-5, you will find a listing of all the programs offered, grouped by Spiritual Location category. You will see the program names, costs (if any), dates/times and the page numbers where you can read more about those that interest you. Step Three: The magazine is laid out in a particular way...

The weekly programs for the FALL are denoted by the color red and listed on pages 6-7.

The monthly programs for the FALL are denoted by the color green and listed on page 8.

The non-weekly programs for AUGUST are denoted by the color purple and are listed on page 9.

The non-weekly programs for SEPTEMBER are denoted by the color blue and are listed on page 10.

The non-weekly programs for OCTOBER are denoted by the color orange and are listed on page 11.

SAVE THE DATES programs in November and December are listed on page 13.

On pages 14-17, you will find a list of our Ministry Teams. If you are feeling like you want to offer your time and/or talents to others, these pages will assist you in seeing some of the ways you can do so. At the end of the description, find the name the Ministry Leader, and use that to reach out and get involved! We have several ministry teams without a ministry leader if you are feeling called to be a ministry leader.

Contemporary Reading: Thrive Deuteronomy 30: 15 -16 Look here! Today I’ve set before you life and what’s good versus death and what’s wrong. If you obey your God’s commandments that I’m commanding you right now by loving your God, by walking in my ways, and by keeping my commandments, then you will live and thrive, and the ADONAI your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. God has placed before us life: Choose to live and thrive. John 10: 10 says the thief enters only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came so that they could have life—indeed, so that they could live life to the fullest. Clearly God wants us to choose to live and thrive and not merely survive"

    THRIVE! GO. LIVE. LOVE. SERVE.

SERVING I'm feeling the need to give of myself. I'm in a place of living my faith in caring for others, possibly inspired by gratitude,

compassion or justice-seeking, or by a desire to "get out of yourself" by giving to those in need. If you find yourself in the

Serving spiritual location you are often sensing a need to use your gifts to care for others. The Serving spiritual location is all

about becoming God's hands, feet and voice through ministry, activism, service and opening your life to discover the Holy most

vividly in yourself and others through service.

SPIRITUAL LOCATION Right where God is and the perfect place for you to be right now.

Look for these icons to find activities that meet you where you are on your spiritual journey.

CHANGING I'm experiencing transformation in my faith life. I'm in a place of new God-experiences, possibly rediscovering longings buried

long ago, or discovering which new possibilities for a life of faith after a significant or life-changing experience. If you find

yourself in the Changing spiritual location you are often releasing old wounds and reaching for a new way to be in relationship

with God. The Changing spiritual location is all about beginning to moving in new directions, coming to know God differently or

coming to experience a different kind of God, by exploring what it might mean for you to get up close and personal with the

    Holy.

LISTENING I'm quieting my life to hear God's voice. I'm in a place of inner spiritual attentiveness, possibly responding to a challenging or

renewed sense of Presence in your life, or a restlessness for more intimacy with God and more authenticity within yourself. If

you find yourself in the Listening spiritual location you likely desire greater depth, simplicity and clarity in your spiritual life. The

Listening spiritual location is all about hearing the still, small voice within - be it through creativity or contemplation, daily activ-

ities or ancient disciplines - you are inviting Spirit to speak in your life.

CONNECTING I'm finding my faith in community. I'm in a place of exploring my spirituality with others, possibly all right or "on fire"

with renewed excitement in your faith journey, or interested in becoming more fully port of a faith community. If you

find yourself in the Connecting spiritual location you are likely experiencing a strong desire to chare your faith-like rela-

tionship with God. The Connecting spiritual location is all about small groups praying and playing together, learning and

deepening your relationship with God and each other and finding your place in a family of faith.

PREPARING I'm deepening my faith journey. I'm in a place of responsiveness to God's call in my life, possibly desiring to personally engage

with sacred texts, expand your understanding of theological ideas, or to commit more deeply to your prayer life and spiritual

practices. If you find yourself in the Preparing spiritual location you are often seeking spiritual growth in such things as

meaningful discipleship or servant leadership. The Preparing spiritual location is all about readiness to live out God's call and

your passion by engaging and strengthening the foundations of your faith and Preparing yourself for ministry leadership.

SEARCHING I'm not sure where I am or what I believe. I'm in a place of questioning my faith, possibly distancing yourself from faith

experiences that no longer fit, or dealing with experiences which have shaken or undermined your beliefs. If you find yourself in

the Searching spiritual location you are probably actively questioning the church, Christianity and God. The Searching spiritual

location is all about letting go of old stuff, questioning former assumptions, beliefs or traditions and experimenting as you sense

what does and doesn't fit with who you are and what you are coming to believe at this point in your life.

Holy Yoga—Gentle Hatha Yoga is an ancient practice that creates a sense of union between mind, body and spirit. Hatha yoga is a general category that includes yoga postures and yoga breathing exercises. Our teacher, Jane Salandi, provides an environment where people feel comfortable and safe. The class will be designed to include all abilities, there will never be a com-petition and no disability would exclude one from participating. Each class will focus on breath, balance, strength, spine, flexibility, and awareness. This journey will increase energy and awareness as you learn to breathe. Bring your own mat, water, and a smile. Donations ac-cepted.

Line dancing is for physical, mental and emo-tional wellness. Dancing is a unique form of ex-ercise because it provides the heart-healthy benefits of an aerobic exercise while also allow-ing you to engage in a social activity. One study found dancing can reduce the risk of Alzhei-mer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The only physical activity to offer protection against dementia was frequent dancing which lowered the risk by a dramatic 76 percent. Of all the physical activities, dancing involved the most mental effort. Line dancing will teach you to dance, improve your balance, improve your confidence and provide an opportunity to dance even if you don't have a partner! All dances are taught and called. No experience needed. All levels welcomed.

    Program Leader: Cass Weisman
