Support the Production of our Bulletin For quite some time we have been producing our own bulletin al-lowing us to meet the needs of the three languages. If we were to send this bulletin out to be produced, we would have to have one bulletin in English only for everyone and the publications of the Readings in Italian and Spanish would have to come to an end. Help us by Supporting our advertisers and also by placing an ad in our bulletin for a year. Please call the office for more information.

MASS INTENTIONS ALPHA & OMEGA: “I bear witness to the truth; all on the side of truth listen to my voice.” Jesus is coming back: this is true. He has washed away our sins in blood. This is the truth. He has made the baptized members of his family: also truth. He says, “I am the alpha and the omega,” the begin-ning and the end, the one who is, who was, and who is to come, the al-mighty. He loves each of us so much that he saves us by giving us his life: all true. We bear witness to him.
2016 Sunday Missal The Sunday missals are no longer sponsored by Wards Funeral Home and we are profoundly grateful to them for their support in past years. We all appre-ciate having a missal available to follow the readings during mass and for that reason we invite you to show support so that we continue to have them available in the pews. Please use the attached envelope for your donation. We will have a second collection today for the 2016 Missals. If you did not get an enve-lope, more will be available at the entrances of the Church. Thank you for your support.
Christmas Outreach Program This year . I would like parishioners to take some time and nominate a family, who are also parishioners, to be recipients of this year’s Christmas outreach program. It is time we take care of those families who are shy or embarrassed to ask for help. Please email the pastor or drop off the information in a sealed envelope. This must be anonymous and will remain confidential.

Farewell to Fr. Efren, our pastor Fr. Efren’s time here as Pastor of St. Jude’s Parish is coming to an end. Over his ten years as pastor, he along with countless volunteers, have worked tire-lessly to strengthen and renew the vitality of this fine parish, both spiritually and structurally. We have an opportunity to express our thanks and gratitude for the work he has done here at St. Jude’s as our pastor being to some a teacher, others a mentor, always a builder and a leader, a consoler to those who mourn, and most importantly, a fellow disciple like yourselves, on a journey of faith. On Saturday December 19, 2015, there will be an oppor-tunity for you to express your thanks to him. In the newly renovated Parish Hall, immediately following the 5:00pm mass, we will gather downstairs to enjoy an Antipasto bar followed by dinner at 7:00pm. There will be tickets sold for this event, $60.00 per person, proceeds from the ticket sales will be given to Fr Efren as a gift from the par-ish. Of course, individual family gifts are most welcome, but not necessary. Ticket sales begin this evening at the entrance of the church, and before and after all masses on subsequent Sundays. Tick-ets will also be made available through the main office Monday to Friday during regular office hours. Due to the limitations of space, we will only have 200 tickets. It is our hope that you may avail yourself for this celebration to honour his time and service to this faith community. Your be-ing at this celebration will mean a great deal to him, and will be a fine way for us to bid him well as he continues to serve God’s people elsewhere. Thank you for your thoughtful attention.

Pray for Vocations
Today we hail Christ as our King. He is the Victor over the power of death Who loves us and freed us from our sins by
His own blood, and Who by Baptism has made us a royal nation of priests in the service of His Father and our God. He Who is King continues to choose men and women to serve as priests, sisters, brothers or deacons, so that the faithful may know Him, love Him and serve Him as well. If you feel God is calling you to a Church vocation, then call Fr. Chris Lemieux, Vocation Director, Archdio-cese of Toronto at 416-968-0997 or email [email protected]
Saturday November 28th 2015; 9:00am to 5:00pm join us for a Senior Men’s High School Retreat for young men grades 10, 11 and 12 at St. Augustine’s Seminary. It is for those who wish to cultivate a deeper prayer life and rela-tionship with Christ in order to help bet-ter discern God’s call in your life, to learn what seminary formation is about, to interact and socialize with the semi-narians and priests of the seminary. It is recognized that building a strong catholic faith foundation in todays’ youth is a most critical step in developing strong vocations for the future. A strong faith foundation will determine our next gen-eration of fathers, husbands and priests. Deadline to register is Friday, November 20, 2015. Registration forms available in the parish office or email voca-
[email protected] for more infor-mation.

Project Hope Day 50 Mid-Campaign Update
On September 8, 2015, Cardinal Thomas Collins launched Project Hope, a 100-day emergency appeal with a goal to raise $3 million to bring 100 refugee families to the Archdiocese of Toronto. To date, we have enough committees to sponsor 50 families, half of our overall goal. This is a great start, but we are still seeking 50 additional committees. The majority of our sponsorship committees are from Catholic churches. However, we have also seen a number of corpora-tions, other faith communities and com-munity groups step forward. To date, we have raised $1.7 million. In order to meet our goal by mid-December, we continue to encourage individuals, schools and corporations to consider making a dona-tion to this campaign and to host fund-raisers or other events to bring in addi-tional funding. Can you help us reach our goal? To learn how you can volun-teer or donate to Project Hope, visit our new website at:www.archtoronto.org/projecthope. Project Hope is a great tes-tament to the strength of our community. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Questions for Reflection:
What things hold power over you in your life?
Are they good things or would you like to see them lose some of their hold?
What does “testifying to the truth” mean? How did Jesus do this?
