GENERAL CHARACTERISTICSNEXT MTR: Air conditioners for metrology labs with upflow air delivery. The series is suitable for all applications where high precision is required in maintaining thecharacteristics of temperature-humidity of the air conditioned room as laboratories, clean rooms, rooms for precision measurements etc..

The machines are made for indoor installation.

The constructive solutions and the internal lay-out allow high application flexibility and the frontalaccess to the main components for the inspection and routine maintenance.

Machines supply fully assembled with refrigerant charge and control systems. The installationrequires electrical and hydraulic /refrigerant connections only allowing high costs and timereduction.

Final assembly on all machines before shipment including running test, reading and monitoringof operating parameters, alarms simulation and visual check.

Design, assembly and test as per the Company Quality Assurance program in full compliancewith ISO 9001. RC Group has been the first Italian company in its segment to get the ISO 9001in October 13

th, 1991 with certificate ICIM 0018.

The machines are in full compliance with European Norms 2006/42CE, 2006/95CE,2004/108CE, 97/23CE and subsequent amendments.

WORKING LOGIC

The control of temperature and humidity conditions, with very small tolerances, are obtainedwith a proportional working logic of the system which provides continuous anduninterrupted operation of the compressor (H) (MAN ON set on microprocessor) for thesimultaneous production of cooling and heating.

Temperature control:During cooling phase the system produce only sensible cooling, without dehumidification

This is done by raising the expansion temperature by increasing the fan speed automatically(by 0-10V proportional signal from microprocessor) and by hot gas injection in the evaporatingcoil (B) though the valve (M) until you cancel the latent component of the cooling produced bythe evaporating coil.

Any excess of cooling is canceled by the proportional hot gas reheating system (C+I) thatuses the hot gas from the compressor to reheating the air flow.

The accuracy of the hot gas reheating system is obtained through a proportional valve withcontinuous control (I) directly driven by 0-10V proportional signal from microprocessor.

The excess of condensation heat, not used by the hot gas reheating system, is exhausted bythe condenser (U).

•  DX version: remote air cooled condenser equipped with axial fans and modulatingcondensing control system. Condensers are also available with centrifugal fans.

•  DW version: built-in water cooled condenser equipped with 2-way modulating valvefor the water flow control.

In case of heating request, primarily using the hot gas reheating system and, if it is notsufficient, the 3 steps electric heaters (D) are activated (in combination with the hot gasreheating system). The steps of the electric heaters are very close and allow a precise temperature control.

Humidity control :In case of dehumidification request, the system automatically controls the latent coolingcapacity by producing cool with forced dehumidification through a reduction of the supply fanrotation speed (by 0-10V proportional signal from microprocessor) and closing the hot gasinjection valve (M). In this way the expansion temperature decrease and consequently thelatent cooling component increase.

Also in this case any excess of sensible cooling is compensated by the hot gas reheating colias previously described.

The humidification is obtained by the proportional steam humidifier with immersed electrodes(G). The humidifier is oversized compared to the standards used in traditional air conditioners.

NOTE : To avoid any potential conflict of the regulation control, the system always has priorityon the control of temperature.Only after reaching the temperature set-point the system begins to control the humidity.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES – REMOTE AIR COOLED CONDENSER

Remote air cooled condenser series TEAM MATE with horizontal air flow, from coil to fan.

The machines are made with weather resistant materials and suitable for outdoor installation.

Design, assembly and test as per the Company Quality Assurance program in full compliance

with ISO 9001. RC Group has been the first Italian company in its segment to get the ISO9001 in October 13

th, 1991 with certificate ICIM 0018.

The machines are in full compliance with European Norms 2006/42CE, 2006/95CE,2004/108CE, 97/23CE and subsequent amendments.

AVAILABLE VERSIONSThe TEAM MATE series is available in 3 versions:

•  TEAM MATE STD - No air flow and sound level reduction

•  TEAM MATE LNO – Air flow reduction at 85% with consequent sound levelreduction.

•  TEAM MATE ELN – Air flow reduction at 70% with further sound level reduction.

MAIN COMPONENTS

FRAMEWORK

•  Base, self supporting frame and panelling in steel plate with protective surfacestreatment in compliance with UNI ISO 9227/ASTMB117 and ISO 7253, and paintedwith epoxy powders.

•  Colour: RAL 9002

FANS SECTION•  Axial fans with sickle-shaped blades, fan guard and optimized for low noise levels.•  External rotor electric motor with stepless variable speed for condensing pressure

control.

•  IP54 enclosure class.

CONDENSING COIL

The combination of two factors, special tubes and fins, allow tooptimally combine the following aspects:- Maximum capacity relative to the size of the exchanger.- Minimum charge of refrigerant.- Reduction of the air flow required for the heat exchange.

•  Frame in galvanized steel.

REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT•  Valves on gas and liquid line for coupling to refrigerant pipe. The condenser is

supplied with nitrogen seal.

ELECTRICAL PANELIn accordance with EN60204-1 norms, suitable for outdoor installation, IP54 enclosure class,

complete with:•  Terminals for 230/1/50 power supply (from network).

•  Terminals for 0÷10V signal for condensing control system (connect to indoormachine).

•  Terminals for alarm signal (connect to indoor machine).•  Fans speed regulator for condensing control.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORY

•  Support legs for vertical air flow.
