On Wednesday nights starting on April 9, we will begin the study of the Explicit Gospel. This study will help us grasp the power of
the Gospel to help us live the life that we have al-ways wanted. In addition we all understand the importance of the Gospel for our salvation, but do we understand the Gospel implications for our lives after we have trusted Christ? The truth is that the Gospel is much bigger and broader than what we have imagined. This study will shatter a lot of the baggage that church has often added to the good
news of Christ, and this study will help us navigate the unexplored dimensions of God's amazing grace.
On Sunday night, April 6, during our evening worship time you are cordially invited to participate in our church information seminar. This seminar is especially important for those of you who have recently joined FBC and are interested in learning more about the life and ministry of First Baptist. The purpose of this seminar is to help us understand who we are, whose we are, what we are called to do, and what we are called to be collec-tively as a church. It is time that we were all on the same page, working towards a com-mon goal, mission, and vision. This seminar will help us to discover these truths as we walk together in faith.
Do not forget that Easter is April 20. We will begin celebrating our Holy Week services on Sunday, April 13 (Palm Sunday) with baptism. We have several that have planned to be baptized on that day. This is a wonderful beginning of our week! There are so many opportunities for you and your family to get plugged-in to the ministry of First Baptist. Make the most of these opportunities and let us come together as we seek His will for His church and for His glory!
In Christ, Rev. Todd M. Hallman "To glorify God, serve the Lord Jesus Christ, and share Him with the world."
