Simple to insert, Easy Anti-seismic hook does not unintentionally release, thanks to its particular geometry that allows to ensure the frame favoring kinetic energy dissipation in the event of an earthquake.

WALL ANGLE BRACKETSThe effectiveness of the Atena anti-seismic systems was verified experimentally by the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering (DICEA) of the University of Padua, which conducted the first international campaign of cyclical, quasi-static and monotonous tests on seismic behavior of the anti-seismic Atena ceilings.
The Easy anti-seismic bracket is fixed to the C-shaped perimeter using M4,2x13 screws.For application with L-shaped perimeter, the bracket must be bent at the nibbling.

According to the current legislation, the calculation of the anti-seismic kits incidence is carried out considering specific acceleration identified on the basis of the geographic coordinates of the project area, depending on the nominal workload.
With the same seismic zone, each geographical coordinate has a punctual acceleration coefficient.
Therefore within the same Municipality the incidence of anti-seismic kits to be applied can vary. A specific calculation is therefore always necessary based on the characteristics of the false ceiling to be applied, the building and the geographical location.
The following tables show some examples. Specifically, the anti-seismic kits per sqm were calculated according to the following parameters:
• Atena anti-seismic kit for high plenum (plenum > 1.2 m)
• Atena Easy Anti-seismic Structure T24 ATENA maximum load 12 kg per sqm
• Classes of use: 2-3-4
• Height of the plenum: h
• Subsoil category: D
• Life Saving Value limit state

CL. 1 Construction with occasional presence of people, for example agricultural buildings.
CL. 2 Construction with normal crowds of people, for example homes.
CL. 3 Construction with high crowds of people, such as schools, recreation - sports - shopping centers, industries, etc.
CL. 4 Construction with important public or strategic functions, also considering the civil protection operations in the event of disasters, for example, hospitals, town halls etc.
As can be seen from the above data, the role of the seismic acceleration of the site is evident regardless of the seismic zone in which it is located. Therefore zones having the same seismic classification have different incidences of antiseismic kits. For this reason Atena supports the importance of performing precise calculations for each project.
APPLICATION LAY-OUT
Suspensions and floor fixings are main aspects to assure the false ceiling safety.
Inadequate fixings in relation to to the load and to the anchor base features, unsuitable hangers or wrong installations compromise the stability of the system and can cause serious damages.
During an earthquake the fixing is subjected to the load cycles and to the cracks width variations.

Atena supplies only accessories such as screws, washers and nuts to connect the elements it supplies; Lightings, accessories and systems such as the electrical or the conditioned air ones must not weigh on the false ceiling, but have to be independently suspended. The fastenings must be checked with respect to the load, the features of the anchoring base and the accuracy of the installation, in order not to compromise the stability of the false ceiling system.

In the following lay-out, an example of the anti-seismic kits arrangement, with the related incidence areas
is reported. The Easy anti-seismic perimeter brackets must be positioned on each 600 mm cross profile.
