Due to the innovative concept of a uni-versal basic device which works incombination with flexibly exchange-able sensors, users no longer need tohave a complete collection of measur-ing devices with them.

Time-saving integratedgraphic grid measurementfunction ...The integrated graphic grid measure-ment function of the T3000 allowsincredibly easy detection, visualisa-tion and assessment of moisture dis-tribution:

Simply define the matrix to be evaluateddirectly at the measuring device andthe configured grid will be shown onthe display.

Now you just have to “work through”the grid by initiating measurement (sup-ported by the T3000) at the desiredmeasuring points.

All measured data is automatically savedin the T3000 in the correct sequence.

A single grid matrix allows saving,preparing and graphically representingup to 2000 measured values. In theMulti Measure Studio software, the gridcan later be automatically implementedtrue to scale by simply entering theedge lengths of the entire grid.

The entire data record can be exportedfrom the T3000 to a PC so that the time-consuming manual transfer measuringpoint by measuring point into a spread-sheet program or another analysis pro-gram is no longer necessary.

The T3000 features a special menuoption for moisture measurement inwood materials with a selection ofhundreds of different types of wood.Their validated material characteris-tics are directly stored in the T3000and can be selected from there.

For temperature compensation –e.g. cold wood or measurements dur-ing wood drying processes – youcan either enter a previously deter-mined value as fixed value in the

T3000 or usethe internal tem-perature sensorof the measur-ing device.

The influenceof the deter-

mined temperature on the woodmoisture is automatically taken intoaccount for moisture calculation.

The T3000 has a 5-pin plug connectorto connect most diverse SDI sensorswith integrated measuring electronics.Measured values are au-tomatically calculatedand transmitted to theT3000 – with digital pre-cision and no drifting suchas it sometimes occurs withanalogue measuring devices.All calibration settings are saveddirectly in the SDI sensor. A factorytest certificate enclosed with every mul-tifunction measuring meter documentsthe tested quality.

The standard version of the MultiMea-sure Studio software included in thescope of delivery allows straightforwarddata read-out as well as automatic soft-ware and firmware updates.

T3000 SDI sensors …

... for climate measurement

All SDI climate sensors allow to accu-rately measure air temperature, dewpoint temperature, mixing ratio as wellas relative and absolute humidity.

During measurement, air temperature,humidity and dew point temperaturevalues can be simultaneously shown inreal time on the T3000 display.

Minimum, maximum, average and“hold” values can be displayed optionallyin addition to these three measured val-ues at the bottom of the display.

Thanks to the integrated logger functionof the T3000 you can also conduct 5-,10-, 30- or 60-minute non-stop meas-urements while recording all climatevalues.

TS 210 SDI climate sensor

Universal sensor for almost all measur-ing requirements in the climate field.

Everyday working conditions often in-clude dust and dirt which may falsifythe measuring results and shorten thesensor life. Therefore, the TS 210 SDI� is equipped with a metal grid filter(gauze filter) as a standard.

A stainless steel sintered filter is option-ally available for this sensor for environ-ments with heavy soiling (see acces-sories, page 49).

TS 230 SDI high-temperature climate sensor

The 250 mm long stainless steel sensorfitted with a teflon sintered filter � al-lows high-temperature measurements,e.g. of drying processes, up to 140 °C,and up to 180 °C for short measure-ments.

TS 250 SDI climate sensor

At 250 mm long and a diameter of just5 mm this sophisticated climate sensor� is ideal for temperature and mois-ture measurements at locations whichare difficult to access as well as for hy-grometric equilibrium moisture contentmeasurement in drill holes with a diam-eter from 5 mm.

... for air flow measurement

These SDI anemometer sensors can si-multaneously measure air flow rate and

temperature andshow them on thedisplay of theT3000.

Minimum, maxi-mum, average and

“hold” values canbe displayed optionally in addition toboth measured values at the bottom ofthe display of the T3000.

The logger function of the T3000 alsoallows time-defined non-stop measur-ing and records all measured values forthe selected time interval.

TS 410 SDI anemometer sensor

This sensor � is not only suitable forchecking the distribution of flow andtemperature in ventilation and air con-ditioning systems but also for findingweak points when certifying the air tight-ness of buildings (blower door).

Reconstruction companies also use itto check the capacity of their drying in-stallations in insulation layer drying afterwater damage as the TS 410 SDI allowsthem to quickly and precisely determinewhether there is sufficient flow of airat the relief openings to dry out the in-sulation layer.


The TS 430 SDI � anemometer sensoris ideal for measurements requiringhighly accurate results, particularly withlow flow values up to 2 m/s with an ac-curacy of 0.04 m/s.


Another option is the cost-effective TS470 SDI � standard anemometer sen-sor fitted with a plastic tip.

To obtain optimal volumetric flow meas-urement results, the menu of the T3000also allows selecting a type of channelarea (square or round) for all anemome-ter sensors if required.

TS 131 SDI surface temperaturesensor

A silver contact piece (ø 6 mm) locatedat the head of the 150 mm long meas-uring tip (ø 3.5 mm) measures the sur-face temperature.

This accuracy class 2 sensor is particu-larly suited for temperature compensa-tion in determining moisture content ofwood or for dew point temperature con-trol. The design allows very accuratesurface temperature measurements.

Minimum, maximum, average and“hold” values can be displayed in addi-tion to the measured temperature val-ues.

TS 800 SDI trace gas sensor

This sensor detects even the lowest hydrogen concentration starting from 1 ppm H2 and allows accurate non-de-structive location, e.g. of cracks andleaks in pressure tanks, pipes, tanks etc.

During measurement, rising and fallinghydrogen concentrations are indicatedacoustically at the handle of the sensoras well as by the numeric display of anindicative measured value on the dis-play of the T3000.

... for non-destructive material moisture measurement

Apart from measurements without aspecific material pre-selection wheredimensionless digit values are displayedto indicate moisture, these sensors ad-ditionally offer the possibility to selectanhydrite or cementitious screed.

When pre-selecting screed, the indica-tive measuring results are directlyshown in mass and CM % on the displayof the T3000. The integrated conversionof measured values is a practical tool,in particular for floor layers to quicklycheck the readiness for covering.

With the graphicgrid measurementfunction integratedin the T3000, near-surface or subsur-face moisture dis-tribution can be de-

tected, visualised and assessed as eas-ily as never before!

TS 610 SDI microwave humidity sensor

Thanks to microwave technology theTS 610 SDI � is ideal for non-destruc-tive subsurface moisture measurementfor material depths up to 30 cm.

Another advantage of this method isthe independence of the salinity degreeof the material. For the microwavemethod it is irrelevant whether an olderor a new building (hygroscopic humidityoccurrences) is measured.

TS 660 SDI material moisture sensor

The field of application of this dielectrichumidity sensor � is non-destructivedetection of moisture distribution in near-surface areas up to 4 cm.

Alarm function

For all material moisture sensors an in-dividual alarm limit value can be set.

Thanks to this function large areas canbe measured fast and effectively with-out continuously watching the display:Once the selected limit value is ex-ceeded, the SDI sensor alerts the useremitting an acoustic signal!

Electrodes for wood and building moisture measurement

� TS 60 hand electrodeUnbreakable plastic handle with twohexagon union nuts in which electrodetips of the following lengths can be in-serted:

Fields of application are the measure-ment of moisture in cut timber orwooden board materials (e.g. chipboardor fibre boards) and the measurementof moisture in soft building materialssuch as roughcast or plaster mortar.

� TS 70 ram electrodeWith moving hammer handle for preci-sion zone and depth measurement es-pecially in wood with different moisturedistribution, e.g. liquid nests using Teflon-insulated electrode tips. These are avail-able in lengths of 45 and 60 mm.


TS 24/250 layer depth electrodesThese electrodes are used for targetedlayer humidity measurement in homo-geneous building materials using thecontact mass.

Material moisture can be assessedlengthwise, up to a maximum depth ofapprox. 250 mm.

The electrode comprises an electrodetube and electrode stand. The electrodetubes (ø 8 mm) are insulated andequipped with a depth scale, so thatthe measured value can be targeted atthe desired measurement depth.


TS 20/110 brush electrodesWith 110 mm long brush head (ø 7 mm)and insulated shaft.

These electrodes are used for targetedmoisture measurement in homoge-neous building materials without usinga contact mass. The brush head estab-lishes the connection to the goods tomeasure.


� TS 12/200 and � TS 12/300 round electrodesInsulated electrodes (ø 4 mm) for tar-geted moisture measurement in con-cealed component layers where theelectrode shaft needs to be insulated.An absence of insulation would falsifythe measuring result.

The most frequent use is the determi-nation of moisture distribution of multi-layered wall or ceiling structures suchas floating screeds, multilayered walls,wooden beam ceilings, warm roofs etc.

� TS 16/200 and � TS 16/300 flat electrodesThe area of application corresponds tothe area of use of the insulated roundelectrodes TS 12/200 and TS 12/300.

The advantage of flat electrodes (1 mmflat) is that there are no holes in thesurface and the electrodes can be in-serted through the edging strip after re-moving the base.
