When Alfred Tabbert, a master craftsman in vehicle building,constructed his fi rst caravan, the „Ideal“, in 1953 from oil-hardened press boards, Germany was booming in the middle of its „economic miracle“. People began to travel, and many were enthralled by the idea of camping holidays. Alfred Tabbert, passion-ate about his craft and an absolute stickler for detail,

built the „Ideal“ for so many, who wanted to live the dream of freedom – his secret for success: he loved what he created. His own personal ideal was to build caravans that would make dreams come true. Our brand was built on his unwavering love for detail, a passion that we live by and will continue to honor in the years to come.

TABBERT ROOF.The perfect combination of diffusing and insulating materials make the construction of the TABBERT roof particularly innovative: The permeable inner layer allows fresh air to circulate, while the insulating layer keeps the heat in and the cold out. The protective outer layer creates a robust, 1.4 mm thick high-strength GRP roof with reduced hail-stone sensitivity.

WOOD-FREE BODYWORK.Optimized weight and improved insulation – these factors are guaranteed by the wood-free bodywork construction, a selectable option for your TABBERT caravan. Foregoing the use of timber in the construction of outer walls, roof, and fl oors, reduces the overall weight of the caravan signifi cantly. The 1.4 mm thick high-strength GRP roof comes as standard in this confi guration as well.

SAFETY & COMPETENCE

TRIPLE LOCK.TABBERT caravans come with an entrance door with triple lock and metal hinges as standard. It is lockable from the inside, therefore offers ideal safety and protection.

FROSTPROOF.All water lines are attached to the air cir-culation hoses with specialist cable clamps – which means that the water will never freeze, no matter how low the temperature.

UNDERBODY CONCEPT. Optimized space utilization in the CELLINI: The fl oor is included in the storage concept as an easily accessible additional space. Placing the fresh water tank in the raised fl oor results in a shift of the caravan's center of gravity towards the axle. The underbody concept therefore signifi cantly improves road handling.

AL-KO TRAILER CONTROL. The electromechanical anti-swerve system ATC (AL-KO Trailer Control) will guarantee op-timized road handling whatever the situation. Automated sensor technology permanently monitors caravan movements, and gener-ates a signal to evaluate road stability. Any pendulum movement will therefore be rec-ognized and compensated in time.

CRANK SUPPORTS. The sturdy heavy-duty supports offer addi-tional stability. Select the AL-KO Bigfoot for heavy-duty crank supports as an optional extra.

LIGHTING. Reverse maneuvering at night is not a prob-lem, because the laterally mounted position lamp allows you to see the vehicle length clearly in your rearview mirror.


EXCLUSIVE FURNITURE.Premium quality furniture construction has been a specialty of TABBERT's for generations. Sturdy closures and stainless steel-look metal handles are just as much part of the concept, as are the combinations of various wood decors with high-gloss laminates. Superior workmanship for guaranteed longevity: All component parts are screwed together and additionally secured with tongue and groove.

CLIMATIZATION AT ITS BEST. The wall units are ventilated to prevent heat build-up, and ensure permanent air circula-tion in the caravan in conjunction with the ventilated seat storage boxes. Good air circu-lation not only prevents waterlogging, it also guarantees perfect climatization throughout the caravan.

SLEEPING COMFORT. The creation of highly comfortable sleeping systems is another TABBERT competence. The very popular TABBERT roller bed function is an optional extra that has been tried and tested thousands of times, and transforms the two single beds into a generously dimensioned double bed in seconds.
