ADA DOOR CONTROL FOR THIS CENTURY

Beyond its intelligence and good looks, the 6300 Series Low Energy Operator by Norton Door Controls has had a high-tech upgrade under the hood. But high-tech doesn’t mean complex, rather in this case it strips-out the overcomplicated guess work from traditional door operator setup and replaces it with a guided program installers can follow on their phone or PC. No app is needed here with installers connecting securely to each operator through a WiFi connection. Even better, you can save these settings to port or transfer via USB to other 6300 Series units.

This sleek-looking operator is still one of the slimmest available. It offers a long list of functions to satisfy each application’s needs. Norton is bringing door controls into the 21st century by coupling superior operation and reliability with a faster, easier – just plain better – installation experience.

Visit NortonDoorControls.com/6300 to view the future of door controls technology.

SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

Norton’s 6300 Series Low Energy Operator just got a whole lot smarter with all new guided setup and adjustment, done right on your phone!

No more fooling around with potentiometers. This updated operator sports an LCD screen where settings can be made. Or even better, connect to the operator through a secure WiFi connection for a guided programming experience:

• Set open and close positions through unique “Learn” feature • Set precise values for speed, force, timing and location • Turn on/off limitless number of options• Customize input functions

What’s more, installers can port an operator’s settings over to other new 6300 units to standardize programming across multiple units.

Don’t forget Norton offers 6300 Series operators in two lengths to either span a standard frame or in a shorter length for double door applications.

Visit NortonDoorControls.com/6300 for more details on this new industry installation technology.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

6300 SERIES LOW ENERGY OPERATOR

Q: What is the difference between the original 6300 Series operator and the new 6300 WiFi operator? A: The 6300 WiFi now features an LCD screen and WiFi module for setting up and adjusting instead of the potentiometers.

Users can now connect to their operator via a phone or other WiFi enabled device.

Q: Are the internal components the same?A: Yes, the only major change is the LCD screen and WiFi module addition.

Q: Is pricing affected by this change? A: No, there is no change to current list pricing.

Q: How will this new WiFi interface save me time? A: While the installation process remains the same, users can set up and adjust their operator via a WiFi enabled device,

eliminating the need to go up and down a ladder. The process of setting up is also much easier with step-by-step instructions laid out in the mobile platform and the operator’s cover never having to come off.

Q: How do I set the operator up if I don’t have a smart phone?A: The operator can also be set up with the cover off, using the LCD screen and the provided instructions. (6300 Series

Programming Manual, Page 3)

Q: How secure is the WiFi enabled 6300 Series? A: The 6300 Series has a secure connection with a required passcode to connect provided with the instructions. The WiFi

connection automatically turns off after 20 minutes of inactivity and can also be turned off manually to help prevent unauthorized access. (6300 Series Quick Start Guide, Page 3)

Q: Can the new 6300 Series WiFi be used on a single and a pair of doors? A: Yes, The 6300 Series WiFi can be used on single and pairs of doors. The minimum opening must be 76” wide to install the

double units (models 6311, 6331, 6341, 6351), and 80" to install the single unit (models 6312, 6332, 6342, 6352).

Q: Do I need to download a special app to setup or adjust the operator? A: No app involved! Connecting to the 6300 Series WiFi signal prompts the platform to start up. (6300 Series Quick Start

Guide, Page 4)

Q: How do you connect to the operator to set it up or adjust it? A: First you need to activate the WiFi connection by turning the operator on and off 3 times. Then the WiFi interface of the

6300 Series unit will allow users to connect to the device the same way they would connect to a cafe’s WiFi with a secure password provided with each operator. (6300 Series Quick Start Guide, Page 4)

Q: How do I connect with a specific operator if there are two or more 6300 Series WiFi operators nearby? A: Each operator has its own unique passcode
