OPTIONAL HEATER INSTALLATION. 1. Drain anti-freeze from engine. Remove the 3/8” plug from the top of the water

pump. Screw in 3/8” NPT X 3/8” barb straight fitting into the hole. Locate the pressure fitting on thermostat housing, to the right. Remove plug from thermostat housing, and screw in 3/8” NPT X 3/8” barb elbow fitting. *Please note: Use a water sealant material around the threads of the fittings.

——————————————————————————————————

2. Take the two heater hoses running from the bottom front right corner of the cab and run them up through the engine to the fittings. Make sure that the hoses do not interfere with any moving parts of the engine. Take the pressure hose and attach it to the left fitting. Secure it into place using one HS-6 hose clamp. Take the suction hose and attach it to the right fitting. Secure it into place using one HS-6 hose clamp. ——————————————————————————————————

3. Ensure that all connections are tight and refill the anti-freeze. ——————————————————————————————————

4. Open the water valve approximately half way, using the rotary control cable in the switch plate of the cab, and turn on the fan. Start the unit and run at PTO rpm for 5 minutes. Check for leaks and add anti-freeze as required. ——————————————————————————————————

5. Start the unit again and drive at PTO rpm for a few minutes to remove any air trapped in the heater hose. Stop the unit again, check the anti-freeze and add as required.
