GROUP KEYBOARD PROGRAMGroup keyboard classes offer the followingadvantages:• Fuller comprehension of the music through

observation of classmates;• Development of poise and confidence;• A greater enjoyment of study through sharing of

musical ideas;• Less isolation as children learn together; and• Development of sight reading skills.

Our group keyboard program is based on Nancy andRandal Faber’s curriculum, which encourages the childto sing, create and move in rhythm, as they learn thefundamental skills needed to play the piano. Theprogram taps into a child’s natural sense of play and joy.

Since parents play an important role in the musiceducation of their child, we require that a parentattend lessons with their child so they can share in thelearning process, supervise practice, and encouragetheir child at the start of their musical adventure.
