TABLELANDS INNOVATION EXPO
Expression of Interest
2014
Welcome to the 2014 Tablelands Innovation Expo
The Malanda Chamber of Commerce and the Malanda Lions Club invite you to participate in the
2014 Tablelands Innovation Expo. The Expo events will be held on Friday 16 May at the Malanda RSL
Club and the Malanda State High School Auditorium; and on Saturday 17 May at the Malanda
Showgrounds and the Malanda Pavilion.
If you are in business or a community organisation and your focus is agriculture, health, design,
housing, ecotourism, conservation, new technology and of course innovation this is a valuable
opportunity to showcase your products and services. It is also a terrific way to network with other
successful businesses and organisations and share information and innovation ideas with a panel of
experts. The Expo will be opened by Professor Sandra Harding, Vice Chancellor – James Cook
University and includes the presentation of three awards for the best innovations.
The following Expression of Interest (EOI) pack contains a program for the event, the event
application form, details of the Malanda Chamber of Commerce, the Malanda Lions Club and Taste
Paradise and the respective membership forms.
There are significant savings to be made if you are a member of or join the Malanda Chamber of
Commerce, the Malanda Lions Club or Taste Paradise, when you participate in the Expo.
If you require local accommodation, some information is provided at the end of this pack.
