Welcome from the PresidentGreetings and welcome to Tabor College!

Tabor is a place where students grow into tomorrow’s leaders. A Tabor education is decidedly Christian, life-transforming, globally relevant and academically excellent. It will take you places, open doors to serve and help you make this world a better place.

In the next few pages, you will see how our students get involved in the academic rigor of the classroom, participate in championship athletics, create compelling arts and engage in activities that shape their character.

Enjoy learning more about Tabor and I look forward to seeing you on campus to personally show you what it means to be a Bluejay!

Blessings,

Jules GlanzerPresident, Tabor College@presglanzer

Current scholars and fellows come from different backgrounds, study in a variety of academic fields and participate in a number of extracurricular activities. Scholarships are awarded to those who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential.

• Currently there are 16 scholars and 41 fellows who participate in the program.

• Scholars are mentored by our college president and fellows are mentored by the director of the fellows program, plus six of our faculty and staff.

• Participants meet national leaders, authors and pastors. They also tour museums, corporate offices and national libraries.

• Students plan and organize service projects throughout the year, all of which make a positive impact on our surrounding communities.

• In 2014, a group of our scholars won the Leadership Challenge Event held at Washburn University in Topeka, Kan.

• Over $450,000 has been awarded in scholarships throughout the history of this program.

• Thirty-five of our PLP participants are currently involved in the performing arts, 15 compete in athletics and some participate in both activities.
