maintained or improved while simultaneously reducing costs. The application consists of three functionalities
that can be combined or used individually.
1. Territory Optimizer Creates visit territories.
Resources may be assigned their own territory with designated customers.
Workloads are balanced over territories.
More efficient routes thanks to geographic clustering.
2. Visit Day Optimizer Calculates optimal visiting days.
Workloads are divided equally over the planning horizon.
Customers are assigned to visit schedules and visits are assigned to specific days of the week.
Variable planning periods - ranging from a week to a year.
3. Routing Creates optimal routes for each day and each resource.

The system calculates an optimal tactical plan on the basis of visit duration and frequency, ensuring that
visits are equally distributed over the planning period. This will also ensure that all resources are assigned
the same amount of work.
