An accelerator program for university students to work on their star tup idea through the following timeline and development roadmap . . .

‣ Reaching out to local students for (1) Hackathon(s), and (2) Startup Design Weekends - where participants work on their startup idea in a 3-day residential program.

‣ In these programs, participants will learn frameworks to help them build a startup (i.e. customer development, human centered design, business model innovation, future thinking).

‣ After these programs, participants will keep refining (or pivot) their idea in Taghyir Lab, and present their finding at the end of Week 2.

Week 3 - 6

‣ “Taghyireen” will begin prototyping and validating the products during MashUP.

‣ With these prototypes, participants will further validate the value propositions and value features to potential customers.

‣ At the end of Week 6, participants must discover the product-market fit and develop a business model that optimizes the customer segment.

‣ At this point, understanding of the customer is extremely critical.

Week 6 - 16

‣ Taghyireen, after discovering the product-market fit, will build their product with the desired features.

‣ At the end of Week 16, Taghireen will proceed to channel their products to early adopters.

20 STARTUPS + RM 15,000

‣ By the end of Week 16, startups will exploit further the customer segment, and be expected to bring in revenue (note: revenue may not necessitate profit).

‣ Startups who are looking to raise more funds, will begin early investment round from angel investors or governmental grants.

‣ Demoday will happen on week 20, for startups to showcase their final products and accomplishments. Startups will be pitching to angel investor who are the primary audience.

EXIT STRATEGY

SEED FUNDING‣ Startups at build stage (Phase 3) will receive RM15,000 of

seed funding for 10% equity of the business. This means Tagyhir Lab will be a partner in the business.

‣ Taghyir Lab will exit the startup at either the Angel round or Pre-Series Round, at the Net Present Valuation at the time of the funding round.

‣ Taghyir Lab, may lead or participate in a syndicated round of funding in subsequent funding cycles.

Taghyir lab will be investing in each of the 20 star tups that reach phase 2 . This wi ll be Tagyir’s business model and engagement strategy with its por tfolio star tups.

OTHER FUNDINGFocusing on students from UTM, a physical lab where par ticipants can work on their star tup idea through the following timeline and development roadmap . . .

GOVERNMENTAL GRANT‣ To cover operational cost of running Taghyir Lab - as part of

nation building and harnessing of high-growth and technological Malaysian Entrepreneurs.

‣ Operational cost to cover free open workshops and usage of facilities, as well as specially curated programs for Taghyir startups.
