• Sometimes it gets so wet that it forms bogs. The trees that live around the bogs survive well but the ones in the bog cannot survive. There are also many hills and mountains in taiga’s.

• Trees dominate the taiga ,but taiga forests do not have the lush trees as tropical areas do. Taiga plants have to live in extreme conditions, and only few species are strong enough to survive
