Taking a localSTAND for Pennsylvania’s Communities

Interesting Targets, Creative Actions
June 2013 – BGT coordinates statewide action targeting PA Democratic State Committee.
The localSTAND Campaign
The idea was simple. Let’s shame the industry and the government for turning their backs on Pennsylvanians whose water has been contaminated by drilling by holding “humble” fundraising events like bake sales and yard sales that say, “This is what it’s come to. We have to hold bake sales to raise money so Pennsylvanians can have clean water.”
