Taking a test in lockdown browser:

Step 1:

LockDown Browser.lnk

Click this link on your

desktop to launch

Respondus Lockdown

Browser.

You will be prompted to

close any programs other

than the Respondus Browser.

Click ‘Yes’ button to allow.

Step 2:

• Login to Blackboard.

• Navigate to the course

using Respondus

Lockdown Browser for

testing.

• Navigate to the test

within the course.

Step 3:

Select the quiz or test. Select begin.

Step 4:

Enter password if needed.

DO NOT blank out or edit

password.

Click ‘Begin’ button.

DO NOT PRESS THE

REFRESH BUTTON UNLESS

ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!

THIS COULD RESULT IN

USING YOUR ONLY CHANCE

TO TAKE THE TEST.

Step 5:

Step 6:

If you DO click on the ‘refresh’

button, and you are not ready

to exit the test, click the RED

‘X’. This will return you to the

test.

Otherwise, if you click on the

‘OK’ button the test will be

closed IMMEDIATELY.

Step 7:

Click ‘Save and Submit’ button

when finished with test. Please exit Respondus

Lockdown Browser by clicking

the red ‘X’.
