Photo Art Quests 2008

Photographers and photo editors: Jayna, Jessica, Kidus, Maidot, Ndenko, Ryan, Sabrina, Taryn, Vida, Zack, Brian, Conner, Deja, Fatou, George, Hunter, India and Keegan.

Sources: Original photographs made with some elderly, floppy-disk Mavicas, family and personal photos (scanned if not already digital), various objects placed on the scanner bed, and public domain (we hope) photographs found on the web.

Editing: the participants used GIMP which is a free, open-source photo editing program, on our various computers, all running Linux – the multi-station public computers (Userful / Fedora), our laptop (Fedora) and our office scanning / printing station (Ubuntu).

Teacher and project designer: CMA Medeiros.

A Takoma Park Maryland Library project with support from the Friends of the Library.
