Guiness Book Record AttemptTo mark the 40th anniversary of the association, the CFAI, in partnership with the FAI, ITT Dublin and Senior College Dun Laoghaire, Tallaght Stadium and SARI, is attempting to break the Guinness World Re-cord Attempt for consecutive penalties which was set by the Major League Soccer in New York last June. The challenge being set is to smash the record of 742 and aim for a minimum of 1,000 penalty kicks, as part of a full day charity event. John Delaney, Chief Executive of the FAI, has called the event a “great opportunity to celebrate football”.

Interconnector. The Minister for Energy, Pat Rabbitte T.D., has brought to Government and published the report on the Internation-al Expert Commission which he had estab-lished in July 2011 to “review and report, within six months, on a case for, and cost of, undergrounding (all or part of) Meath-Tyrone 400KV power lines”. Announcing the publication of the Commission’s report Minister Rabbitte said: “I welcome the Commission’s report which fulfils an important Programme for Government Commitment. This afternoon I have sent a copy of the report to Andrew Doyle, T.D. the Chairman of the Oireach-tas Committee on Communications, Natural Resources and Agriculture so that it can be considered by the committee. I have also forwarded copies of the report to Eirgrid and ESB Networks. “After a brief period of consultation I will revert to Govern-ment with a memorandum on Security of Energy Supply, to which Eirgrid and the planning process will have regard.”

Dublin Community Games launches Programme of Activities 2012Dublin Community Games are launching the 2012 pro-gramme of activities on Tuesday 24th January at 7pm in Carmichael House, Dublin 7. The programme sees almost 40 different sports and cultural activities on offer over the com-ing months. This year competitions range from athletics to art, soccer to swimming, judo to gymnastics, and volleyball to variety.

The Launch will coincide with an information night where areas can find out how events are organised, get suggestions about problems they may have encountered and ask ques-tions. There will also be a computer session where areas will be shown how to use computers to assist in organising local areas. We will have a number of laptops available and experienced IT professionals on hand to show you how this can be done.

Looking to the year ahead Chairperson, Brian MacManus said: “We are looking forward to another busy year with some new activities being introduced, and being able to extend the reach of Community Games into every community around the county.”

There is free parking available at the North Brunswick Street School yard, directly across from Carmi-chael House.

Dublin Community Games oper-ates in local communities, provid-ing opportunities for young people to develop in a healthy and safe environment while experiencing a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.

Catering for young people aged 6 – 16 years in a programme with a strong emphasis firmly placed on fun, participation and creating com-munity spirit. And don’t worry, if you’re over 16, you can get involved with the youth section and help out at local and county events. Adult Volunteers are invaluable as they are actively involved in organising activities locally.

The launch and Information night is open to all, new and existing volunteers, but if you require more information, contact Dublin Secre-tary, Maureen Quinlan on 872 8203 or check out www.dublincommuni-tygames.ie

must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian. Speaking of the announcement of the concert, Aslan’s Christy Dignam said: ‘South Dublin County Council is delighted that the very first concert in Tallaght Stadium will feature Aslan, one of the best bands to ever emerge from Dublin. We look forward to welcoming Aslan fans from all over the country to the gig. The people of Dublin are proud of Aslan and the people of Tallaght are proud of Tallaght Stadium, so it’s a great combination that brings the two together in this “Crazy World”’. Willie Sheils, South Dublin County Council. ‘We can’t believe that we are thirty years together this year and to be playing Tallaght Stadium this June in front of 20,000 people is a dream for us. We have a lot of very special guests lined up for the day and we would just like to say a big THANKS to everyone who has supported the band over the years and helped us reach this milestone. We are really excited that younger fans will get the chance to see us live in a big stadium and we are honoured that Aslan will be the very first music concert at Tallaght Stadium”.

The band is currently gearing up for the release of their brand new studio album on EMI Records this year. Entitled ‘Nudie Books and Frenchies’, the album title is a tongue-in-cheek, nostalgic nod to their teenage years. Aslan have also been busy wrapping up production on a documentary, which chronicles the adventures of the band from 1982 to present day. This will be screened and released in 2012. Government must intervene and en-sure rights of La Senza workers

Speaking in the Dáil in support of the La Senza workers, Dublin South West TD Seán Crowe said: “My party colleague Eoin Ó Broin and I visited the Liffey Valley Shopping

Centre to meet workers of La Senza who have been treated disgracefully by their employers. “It is unacceptable for workers to be told on a Monday morning that they no longer have a job and for the employer to withhold wages and overtime for hours worked. It is also unacceptable for employees to be left with no redundancy package by their employer. “Workers have an absolute right to expect adequate notice of redundancy and De-cember’s wages and overtime should have been paid on time. An adequate redun-dancy package must be been put in place for all staff to assist them in the difficult transition to unemploy-ment. “When I met workers out at Liffey Valley and in the Dáil, it was clear they have a great deal of support from local people who are shocked and angered by what has happened. “One employee who worked for the company for nine and a half years was told on a Monday morning by seven heavies that her job is gone. She received no communication, phone call or e-mail and has still not been informed officially that she no longer has a job “This company has shown contempt to both its staff and Irish taxpayers by their blatant disregard of the leg-islation that is there to protect work-ers’ rights. The government must address this issue and not allow the company to get away with this. “All of the workers I spoke to who have lost their jobs still have no proof of their redundancy and this presents a difficulty in itself. The only way the workers can prove that they have been made redundant is for trade unions to provide a letter informing the Department of Social Protection of the situation. It highlights the dif-ficulties in this regard and the importance of joining a trade union. “There is something badly wrong with the existing legislation if workers can be treat-ed in this way. Here we have a company that has already been sold off and the €6.5 million made in profits sent to Britain. All of the La Senza workers I met with had worked overtime and have not been paid. Attempting to get redress through tribunals will be a long, drawn out process considering there is a waiting list of 35,000 people. “That is wrong and means it could be two years before these people are paid.” “This is unacceptable and when Sinn Féin raised this in the Dáil this week we made it clear that the government must intervene and support the rights of La Senza work-ers.”

O’ CONNOR DEMANDS ACTION ON GRAFFITIFianna Fáil Local Area Representative Charlie O’ Connor has called on South Dublin County Council to take effective action in respect of the Graffiti along the walls at Alpine Rise/Belgard Heights facing out onto the new Embankment Road.

He pointed out that the new extension is attracting huge volumes of traffic to and from the area and the Graffiti is creating a very poor impression.

He added that the many residents who had contacted him on the matter also point out that users of the LUAS lines to Tallaght and Saggart are also seeing this Graffiti and again the impression is not a very good one.

The former Dáil Deputy for the area says that “it is a pity that the image of the area along the stretch of such a fine piece of road network should be dimin-ished by the Graffiti” and he believed that the Council should now take imme-diate action in the matter.

Government appoints second Taxing MasterThe Government has appointed Ms Rowena Mulcahy to the post of Taxing Master following an open competition conducted by the Public Appointments Service. The vacancy arises following the retirement of one of the two Taxing Masters, Mr. James Flynn, on 21 December 2011. Under section 3 of the Court Officers Act 1926, the appointment of a Taxing Master is made by the Government. The legislation also provides that there shall be two such posts. An open competition was held by the Public Appointments Service which advertised the post last September and subsequently provided a list of three candidates for the Government’s consideration. Ms. Rowena Mulcahy is the second Taxing Master to be appointed following this competition. Mr. Declan O’Neill was ap-pointed by the Government on 13 December last. This appointment is on an interim basis pending the establishment of the Office of Legal Costs Adjudicator provided for in the recently published Legal Services Regulation Bill 2011.

Emergency Call Answering Services for deaf, hard of hearing and speech impaired citizens launched. Minister Rabbitte has launched the pilot SMS service for enhancing access to Emergency Call Answering Services using the 112 telephone number. This is a service aimed at facilitating those who are unable or have difficulty in communicating verbally with the emergency services. This includes deaf, hard of hearing and speech impaired citizens. “By providing these people with access to an SMS service for con-tacting the Emergency Services, we are taking a step closer towards parity of access for all to the emergency services.” said Minister Rabbitte.

This Pilot service will, if successful provide a vastly superior so-lution to accessing emergency services, than the current system. The pilot is being launched on foot of a public consultation by the Department. It was decided that new technologies would enhance access for end-users, using technologies other than tra-ditional voice communication. The consultation identified the use of SMS as the preferred mechanism for this communication. As SMS is not a “real time” communications technology, it was decided it would be tested with a six month trial where it would be reviewed before a decision is made on its future use. The Minister said “There are technical challenges which will have to be addressed, but I believe these can be overcome. If you wish to use the service you will need to identify your location via text, and identify your home address when signing up to the service” Minister Rabbitte finished by saying “This trial represents another step in the provision of a better emergency call answer-ing service. I and my Department look forward to working with the representatives of people with disabilities to continue to improve the service, not alone during this trial but also in the consideration of other technologies that will serve us even bet-ter.”

Walsh condemns as ‘sneaky’ the 37% cut in the weekly rehabilitation training bonus.

Tallaght Central FF Councillor, Éamonn Walsh has challenged the HSE and Minister O’Reilly for their decision to cut from € 31.80 to € 20, a training allowance to vulnerable people. ‘The National Learning Centre as part of the REHAB group at Broomhill Road in Tallaght provide a number of programmes to people with a range of disabilities and challenges in life both physical and intellectual. The purpose of these courses are manifold and include developing social skills to enhance the participants’ chances of participating in work or their return to work. The National Learning Network enable people to integrate into the community where up to now they may have felt marginalised due to their challenges in life. This small amount of money paid for incidental expenses such as bus fares and lunches’ Walsh says. ‘This cutback which will affect over 800 people throughout the country was decided a day before Christmas Eve and was received by the Network in Tallaght on the 3rd of January –the first day of business with no consultation. Like the disability cuts and the senior citizen fuel allowance cut back, these are unwise and counterproductive measures and show a sloppy approach to budgeting. Target-ing those whose voices are the weakest, and to do so over the Christmas period, is sneaky and unjust and should be reversed- I will be raising the matter at the HSE/Councillor Health Forum at our next meeting’ Walsh says.

The Sovereign Seal is the Harp with Eire below it and must be elevated above every Judge in every Court. It consists of 12 strings (devised from the four elements our five senses and the trinity) . A 13th string was adapted as it is the execution string for the Judge to secure a just determination in Court. It was originally worn as a Torc by the Brehon for the same purpose as it would tighten around the neck if the ruling was against the principles in Law. The Sovereign Seal was adopted by the Presbyterian McGuire family and Irish Republican

Brotherhood/Sovereign Republic as the National emblem, for all. All in-formation that pertains to the existence of mankind is embedded in it, ie all knowledge to sustain man on the planet (Please see Irish history/ you tube link below). Ireland is the only nation in the world that has adopted a musical instrument as it’s national emblem, representing man’s intellect and reason, it is pre-Biblical. The McGuires were the largest salt traders in the world at one time

with an street named after them ‘Maguire Street’ (Anglicised), in the city of London near Tower Bridge. Pat McGuire who had taught Christopher Columbus how to read the compass was also in attendance to the court of king Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain. Martin McGuire who was the father of Wil-liam James McGuire;the current custodian of the Sovereign Seal, was personal friends of American PresidentJFK. He was also personal friend with the Fourth President of India; President Giri and India obtained their Independence through the IRB GCHQ, Vaughan’s Hotel Parnell Square Dublin as a result. The present Na-tional flag of India is green, white and orange, the horizontal tricolour with the sunburst in the centre.

It is mandatory for the Taoiseach,Ceann Comhairle and Chief Justice to witness this Ceremony, as their Seal of office derives from and under the Sovereign Seal. The Indian delegation is in attendance every year to acknowledge the origin of their Indevpen-dence. The Sovereign Dail and Courts were established in the Mansion House on January 21st 1919 at noon, Ireland’s National Day of Independence. All members of the Garda Siochana and defence forces must wear the Harp on their buttons, seven strings for Gardai and eight strings for Soldiers. It appears on all Govt.documentation and all licences and coin-age must bear it, unlike modern Euro notes which do not bear the words ‘Legal tender’ on them.

All Irish People became Sovereign, ‘on the record’ in 1919 and have the Lawful right to self determination regarding the Home, family life, liberty, freedom, assets, free access to our extensive natural resources and an unhindered existence. All People are invited to come celebrate their enduring sovereignty by attending this open event. A fascinating history lesson is guaranteed on the day. Mansion House, Dublin 2. Irish Farm Expo – 7th & 8th of February

The prestigious Citywest Hotel and Conference Centre Dublin becomes the latest venue to attract a main stream farming event.

When news broke last year that Citywest Hotel was to be part of Ireland’s Agri show calendar the nation gasped a sigh of excitement and anticipation. Never before has the capital of Ireland had such an event nor has there been a Farm Show in such a prestigious venue. In almost every other country around the world the capital city always attracts the rural population for one weekend and this year Ireland will be no different.

This event will showcase all aspects of farming under one roof from farm machin-ery, landscaping, forestry equipment and feeding equipment to crop care, fuels and lubricants. So far feedback has been positive and a large proportion of the trade stands available have been sold. The interest from the public has been good, which organisers AJS Promotions apportion to the location and surrounding facilities.

Andrew Short of AJS Promotions commented: “For me the key to making this event stand out was the location and accessibility. For the first time patrons have an opportunity to attend and stay on site in the hotel for a very reasonable rate. This makes this event the perfect mid week getaway for anyone in this industry!”

Situated on 380 acres of majestic parkland, Citywest Hotel, Conference, Leisure and Golf Resort is a truly unique property and perfectly situated 20 minutes from Dublin City just off the N7. Indeed with 774 rooms Irish Farm Expo attendees are almost guaranteed accommodation unlike other major agri events. Getting to the event couldn’t be easier either with easy access from the N7 plus free parking, or take the Red LUAS Line direct to the door of Citywest.

The show will be open from 10am to 9pm on Tuesday 7th & Wednesday 8th February.

Minister Rabbitte high-lights importance of digital skills training for beginners “Every citizen has the opportunity to embrace our increasingly digital world. If you are planning on being around for a while you may as well get on-line now” Communications Minister Pat Rab-bitte today presented certificates to one of the first groups of trainees to complete basic internet training under the latest phase of the Benef IT scheme run by the Department of Communications, Energy & Natural Resources.

The trainees have all recently completed training as part of the “Get Ireland On-line” initiative run by ICS skills under the Minis-ter’s Benef IT 3 scheme. Minister Rabbitte congratulated all the train-ees on what they have achieved and hoped that they would go on to reap the advantages of their newly acquired skills for many years to come. Speaking at the event – which took place at ICS Skills’ offices in Dublin - the Minister said, “For me as Minister one of the most satis-fying aspects of my job is seeing positive outcomes for people. That’s why digital inclusion is so important to me. Without the skills to use technologies like the internet, the substantial investment being made in Ireland’s infrastructure is under-utilised. As a result, our potential as a nation is not being fulfilled and opportunities are being lost. I want to ensure that no one is left behind - that every citizen has the opportunity to embrace our increasingly digital world. The technology is getting easier and cheaper all the time. Many services are now more eas-ily accessed on-line. Training and support is available from the Government. If you are planning on being around for a while you may as well get on-line now. ” Training, like the basic training being recog-nised here today, is now available all over Ireland - empowering thousands of people and opening up new opportunities for them. I would certainly encourage anyone - what-ever their background or age - who was thinking that they might like to explore the many opportunities the internet has to offer, to avail of these training opportunities.

Do Your New Year’s Resolutions Involve Your Pet?It’s that time of year again...New Year; and I don’t know about you lovely readers, but I enjoy the feeling that comes with trying to make a fresh start…well at least trying to focus on making a fresh start. I made one today in fact. Instead of sitting down to my lunch I took two gorgeous shelter dogs for a mid day walk in our train-ing field. It got me out of the office for half an hour and gave me some quality time with two of our special girls, Jill and Scamp, both Jack Russell terriers.

Across are my top five pet resolutions for 2012; see if you can stick to at least three of them. I know I’m going to try very hard this year.

1Check it Out: Regular check ups give your vet the chance of picking up on any developing illnesses and the opportunity to take care of them immediately. For example

a New Year’s examination of the heart, lungs and teeth, etc., will prove less costly in the long run rather than wait-ing for that problem to develop.

2Get the Look: It’s 2012 and those long nails and matted coat are soooo last year. Take Fido to the poodle parlour for a

bit of pampering. After all, who wants to cuddle a sticky pooch? If your groomer can’t resolve coat problems, then it’s back to the vet for advice in order to rule out any suspected underlying medical problems.

3Watch the Weight: Read the feeding guidelines on your pet’s food and follow them carefully. Over-weight animals face a number of health risks. Lay off the scraps and too many treats; and, if your pet is not

already on a well balanced, top quality, dried pet food now is the time to consider one.

4Poison-Proof Your Home: Are there dangerous toxins lurking

in your cupboards? The home can be a minefield for dogs and cats. Lock those poisons away today and create a safe environment for your animals.

5ID: Microchip your pets and get them a new collar and ID tag. Make sure your information is accurate and if it changes, i.e. you get a new mobile ‘phone number or move house, then update it now.

Sinn Fein Dublin Mid-West representative Eoin O Broin has called on the Government ‘to immediately reverse the 75% funding cut to the four com-munity safety worker posts in Clondalkin and Tallaght.’ The call comes after the four staff were put on protective notice following a unilateral divi-sion by the Department of Environment to cut their funding by 75% with immediate effect with the remaining 25% ending in March.O Broin said:‘There are four community safety scheme workers in Clondalkin and Tallaght. They provide a range of vital services to local communities at very little cost to the exchequer. ‘In North and South Clondalkin the community safety forum workers coordinate the work of the local community safety forum – a vital link between the Garda and the local community. ‘They organise a wide range of activities to address the high levels of anti-social behav-

iour in the community including diversionary programmes for you people with a particular focus on times when anti-social behaviour is at its height. ‘They also work with local residents groups to organise clean-ups and reduce ille-gal dumping. ‘Their regular community newsletters are also an important source of information for people.‘The Department of Environment is arguing that these services can be provided directly by South Dublin County Council. This is not the case. No funding has been allocated to the Council to pick up the various programes when the posts cease to exist in March. More importantly the community based nature of the workers, which enables them to work within the community with greater effect, cannot be replicated by Council staff. ‘The decision by the Fine Gael and Labour government to cut the funding from these posts is a serious blow to community. Not only will four individuals lose their jobs. But local people will lose vital services which will not be replaced. The Minister responsible must reverse this decision’

ISPCC’s Leanbh service reports dramatic decrease in number of sightings of children beggingToday the ISPCC’s Leanbh service launches its 2011 annual statistics. The service which works in Dublin supporting children at risk of begging has seen a huge decrease in the number of sightings and incidences of children begging on the streets. Key statistics in 2011:

»466 Sightings of children begging (almost 50% decrease from 924 sightings in 2010)

»1,370 hours of street work by Leanbh team »46 children received individual support »30 parents received support

This decline in the number of children begging can be attributed to both the on the ground work of the Leanbh service as well as the introduction in 2011 of new begging legislation. The ISPCC commends the commitment of An Garda Siochana in responding to incidences of begging. Adriana Fechete, ISPCC East Regional Manager, today said; “Along with the introduction of begging legislation in February 2011 which has had an impact on the number of people begging, we have worked extremely hard in supporting our clients in understanding the implications of the legisla-tion and explaining to them the risks of begging. Children who beg are in a particularly vulnerable position and in great danger of becoming involved in further dangerous situations”

The ISPCC’s Leanbh service was originally established in 1997 to address the issue of child begging. The dedicated staff and volunteers of the service spend many hours working on the streets and engaging with children who may be begging. The service offers tailor made supports to these children and their families. Since it began, Leanbh has worked with the most vulner-able children, young people and parents from minority ethnic groups, dur-ing which time the service has developed valuable expertise. Caroline O’Sullivan, ISPCC Director of Services said “Leanbh addresses the specific needs of children and parents from different minority ethnic backgrounds and understands the challenges this can present to children and their families. Leanbh strives to develop new ways to respond to these challenges and will continue to highlight the unacceptability of children begging”

Concerted effort needed to continue road safety improvements – Lawlor Road Safety study shows fatalities on Irish roads continue to decrease, falling to 186 in 2011, down from 212 deaths in 2010 and 238 in 2009

Commenting on new figures published by the Road Safety Authority, Finegael councillor Brian Lawlor said, “Deaths on Irish roads have dropped 50% since the introduction of the Road Safety Strategy 2007 – 2012. However, even one death is too many, and my thoughts are with the 186 families and communities around the country who tragically lost a loved one on our roads this year.”

“This Government is committed to building on the progress made to date to ensure our road safety standards continue to improve. Since Fine Gael have come into office we have rolled out significant measures, such as the new drink driving limits, which bring Ireland in line with international best practice. Minister Varadkar, has outlined further measures to increase road safety he intends to introduce over the coming years.”

“These measures include the move to plastic driving licenses and the provision of new pen-alty points for dangerous drivers, enhanced commercial vehicle roadworthiness testing and the publication of legislation to provide for roadside testing of suspected drug drivers.”

“I would also like to recognise the superb work done by members of the Gardaí and the Emergency Services both in working to prevent accidents on our roads, and in responding to emergency situations. The impact of the swift and professional responses of Gardaí, Am-bulance and Fire Service Personnel to road collisions cannot be understated,” concluded Councillor Lawlor.

Ask AliceAsk Alice is our regular Agony Aunt and you the reader will be able to send your questions to her at [email protected]. Although Alice will feature in our paper Tallaght Express is not responsible for any comments or answers

Q . Dear Alice,I am a 38 year old separated man with three children from my marriage. I recently met a lovely lady who is 30 and has a no kids. We were out the other night and the subject came up

about children. I said I did not want anymore children. My partner got upset and said she did. I feel as if I am caught between a rock and hard place. Thanks Peter

Dear Peter,This is a difficult situation. You probably feel you have had your kids and now it is time to just kick back and enjoy the relationship while she probably feels the next step in her life is settling down and starting a family. Firstly you need to make sure she knows that you are not rejecting her as a partner and that you do enjoy going out with her. It is just having more children with anyone is the problem. She will have to decide what she wants from life which may involve finding a partner who does want to have children. However, you said in your letter that you have just recently met. Is it possible to just enjoy each other’s company and get to know each other before making plans for the future? Either of you could change your mind when it comes to making decisions. Alice.

Q. Dear Alice,I have been working for a few years. I like my job and have a good enough wage each week from it. My problem is that I just cannot manage my money. I am in debt in the Credit Union since Christmas and my friend is getting married in six months. I just can’t afford the whole hen night, present, new clothes and all that goes with weddings. Help, Pamela.

Dear Pamela,The easiest way to manage your money is to look at it as if you are a business person. Work out how much comes in, how much goes out and how much is left. You know how much you have coming in each week. To calculate your outgoings you need to add up all your weekly bills – Credit Union, bin charges, bus fares/car parking, lunches etc. Then look at the monthly bills – ESB, Gas/Oil, phone, TV, broadband, petrol, mortgage/rent etc. Divide each one by 30 and multiply by 7. That tells you how much those bills cost each week. Then you have yearly bills e.g. insurance, car servicing/repairs, TV License, holidays etc. Divide this by 52 to get your weekly rate. Include how much you will need for the wedding and work it out on a weekly basis as well. Now you have figured exactly what you need for bills each week and what is left out of your wages for everyday stuff like grocery, hair, clothes and so on. Hopefully when you do the sums you will have enough left over to manage. Now – the trick is – take the money that is left after the bills out in cash so you can only spend what you have in your purse. Bury your cards under your bed or somewhere and do not use them for 6 months. In the beginning you may have to cut out some extras but it will become easier.

Q Dear Alice,I am seeing a really nice girl for about 9 months now. We get on really well when we are together and sometimes talk about getting married in a few years. We are both 21. So you might ask what is the problem? She has a private life that I am not allowed to ask about. She always had separate nights out with the girls once or twice a week which was fine until about 3 months ago. Now she often goes out 3 nights with her friends. The next morning after her girl’s night she won’t talk to me on the phone or answer a text. She is dying with a hangover for a day or so. I am worried about her drinking so much and I feel as if I am losing the best part of the week with her because she is either out with the girls or recovering from the night out. I have tried asking her not to drink so much or maybe not go out so often but she says I have no right to tell her what to do. What should I do?Ray.

Dear Ray,This is a tough one for you. It is good for your girlfriend to maintain her friendships with the girls but she is probably drinking more than she should for her health and it is very tough on her to survive all those hangovers. I can understand how you must feel standing aside while she goes out so much. But, she is right when she says you can’t tell her what to do. The change has to come from her – you cannot force it. If she feels she has to give up her friends she will only resent you. All you can do is tell her how you feel and that you miss her. Let her know that you don’t mind her going out with her friends but you are getting fed up with missing the next days as well while she is sick. Let her know, also, that you want to go out with her and spend time with her. Then it is really up to her to decide how she wants to spend her time and you need to decide if that is enough for you. Ask yourself how do you feel in this relation-ship. Make a list of positive and negative words e.g. respected, loved, happy, angry, upset, neglected, lonely, wanted etc and see which you would ap-ply to your feelings. Often when we write our feelings down they become clearer and we can make clearer decisions about the next step.Alice
