Tallulaʼs is an ingredient-driven, neighborhood Mexican restaurant located in Santa Monica Canyon just a few hundred feet from the beach. Co-Owners Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan both grew up going to this location in its former incarnation as Marix Tex Mex, and long thought of doing their own personal project in the space. When the opportunity came up, they partnered with co-owner and celebrated chef Jeremy Fox (Rustic Canyon, Birdie Gʼs), and theyʼre now fulfi lling that dream.

The kitchen at Tallulaʼs is overseen by Executive Chef Saw Naing and Jeremy, whose shared love for great ingredients and passion for cooking is translated into a menu full of rich, bold fl avors and imaginative takes on familiar Mexican dishes. The seasonal, cantina-style menu features ingredients from the Santa Monica Farmersʼ Market and other local purveyors the chefs know and trust. The Mexican-inspired dessert menu was created by Zoe, a celebrated baker, and is run by the Tallulaʼs team. We also have a great bar focused on agave-based spirits and fresh market produce, plus well-curated wine and beer lists paired to match the fl avors of the food.

Tallulaʼs is a colorful place to gather with friends and loved ones, and enjoy wonderful fl avors and great drinks.

Our festive main dining room, bar & lounge and charming outdoor patio are ideal for casual get-togethers. The kids will feel just as comfortable alongside your margarita-loving friends!

We offer large party menus for gatherings of 12 people or more, served family-style, to help make your experience seamless and fun. Prices range from $44 to $58 per person.

Our private event space on the second fl oor is perfect for birthdays, cocktail parties, wedding rehearsals, company meetings and special dinners. With a dedicated bar for mixing up margaritas and serving wine and beer, this light-fi lled and casual room can host a seated dinner for 32 or a standing party for 50 people.

Enjoy a variety of our signature Mexican-inspired dishes and seasonal offerings, served buffet-style for $50/person or family-style for $75/person.
