The TALLY Girl is at the airport – a place where she feels at home totally. That’s because she is a Jet-Setter. The landing runway is a playground for her fantasy. She repurposes the airplane’s engine into her hair-dryer and declares the aero-foil wing her exclusive sun terrace. The businessmen in the airplane can’t believe their eyes! She’s lying there, bathing in the sun and nothing can disturb her. The bunny, her best friend and loyal companion, is lying next to her doing exactly the same. But the passengers’ gazes are directed at the TALLY-Girl only.

Although this store-opening happened a while ago, we didn’t want to keep back those pictures of our very sweet custo-mers from you. After a successful reconstruction phase, our TALLY WEiJL store in the Super Brand Mall Shanghai reopened last fall. With its 115 square meters, this stylish location is the third largest TALLY WEiJL store in China and surely our most beauti-ful TALLY WEiJL store there. An ocean of pink balloons awaited the enthusiastic costumers on the opening day. There were vouchers hidden for them on the inside of the balloons. The curious mass flocked to the store to benefit from the attractive discounts.

Pop Art meets glamour! With the new collection, the TALLY Girl enters a universe full of gaudy colors, futuristic designs, neon combined with pastel shades and a lot of black. The silhouette is sporty, chic and is characterized by graphic forms and patterns. Bright colors communicate fun, energy and dynamics. Our heroine presents herself in a glamo-rous and futuristic manner. She’s a fan of Lady Gaga and Bands like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Tight styles she combines with oversized shapes in a very sexy way. Colored animal prints, colorful nylons and studs make her heart beat faster.

Basel, Paris, London – the Bunny is a real jet setter - just like the TALLY-Girl!Shopping and partying can be quite stressful – that’s why our Bunny traveled to the Caribbean luxury island St.Barth. Why did you become a designer? With 11 years, I had a book about Yves Saint Laurent‘s work. Since then I never stopped sketching his drawings and staring at catwalk pictures. Then

with 15, I directed my studies to become a designer. Have you always wanted to become a designer? As a child, I wanted to become a cartoon designer but quickly I realized that I preferred to draw dresses. What inspires you? Everything around me, people in the street, TV, movies, exhibitions, my friends.

Do you have any fashion icons? if yes, who? I don’t have one special icon but right now I would say Scarlett Johansson. Tell us something about the creation process of a TAlly collection: We work from the trend themes plus inspiration from internet / magazine / shopping and our feeling of fashion. As well, we are traveling to different countries to feel the trends all over the world, to observe and catch the closer spirit of what our customers want. We propose sketches of several shapes and then after validation we work with supplier to set up the proto sample until we get the OK for production.

An accessory, that should desperately be invented ... A beautiful big purse in leather where you can find everything quickly! Do you have any certain rituals when you need some new creative ideas? Make up a story in my mind around a girl I want to dress up. That helps me a lot. Which fashion item would you like to possess and why? 1st Louboutin shoes, because ... I don‘t know, they are crazy and I love them!!!your favorite designer / artist / musician / band / movie? YSL (miss him), Karl Lagerfeld, Robert Doineau (photographer), Gossip (band), old Walt Disney cartoons, all about NYC. your personal Top 5-Songlist on your mp3-player at the moment? Gossip, Madonna, Scarlett Johansson & Pete Yorn, Feist und Lady Gaga.

TAllyGive your look a very personal touch and create your TALLY belt!Here comes a very easy, but clever DO IT YOURSELF (DIY) instruction for everyone who has at least one TALLY WEiJL shawl at home and who wants to use it in a totally different way!

For this DIY project you need: elastic band 4 D-rings fixing pins sewing kit or a sewing machine

INSTRUCTION / BELT BUCKLE: pull the ends of the elastic band

through the 2 D-rings and fix it with the pins.

before sewing, make sure that the ribbon isn’t too tight so the rings can still move freely.

Now, just start sewing and the mobile belt buckle is DONE! Thread the TALLY-shawl and get creative with it!

HOW TO THREAD YOUR SHAWL: fold the shawl. First, thread one end through the

D-rings, then pull the fabric back again. Put it over the first ring and under the second ring.

Place the belt on your waist and fix the other end of the shawl in the same manner.
