Malaysia is a unique country . The three main races in Malaysia are Malays , Chinese and Indians . Besides that , we also have other races such as Kadazan , Ibans , Orang Asli and many more. Due to this , we know many languages , but our national language is Bahasa Malaysia . We always use Bahasa Malaysia to communicate with other races .

Malaysia also celebrates many festivals, such as Chinese New Year , Hari Raya Aidilfitri , Deepavali and more. During these festivals , we will return to our “kampung” and celebrate together . So , we will have long holidays during these festivals . Many foreign tourists come to Malaysia to visit Kuala Lumpur . Kuala Lumpur is the capital country of Malaysia. Petronas Twin Towers is the most popular place and it is the tallest building in the world . There is a sky bridge between the two towers on 41st and 42nd floors . KLCC Park is below the building with jogging and walking paths, a fountain incorporated with light show, wading pools, and a children's playground. Suria KLCC is one of the largest shopping malls in Malaysia . Besides that , Kuala Lumpur also have many shopping centres, such as Sunway Pyramid , Mid Valley , Jusco and more……

CHINESE NEW YEAREvery year , we have Chinese New Year . Before New Year , my family and I will go back to my father‘s hometown, that is located at Alor Star , Kedah . On new year’s eve , the whole family will gather and have dinner . This is our family reunion dinner , in chinese ,we call it “tuan yuan fan” During new year, we will play with fireworks and fire-crackers . The next day is the first day of Chinese New Year. All the children , young girls or boys will get “angpau” from their parents. “Angpau” is like a red small envelope and parents will put some money into the “angpau” . Before getting the “angpau” , we are supposed to take a bath then change into our new clothes and shoes . We also wish everyone “Happy Chinese New Year”. Traditionally, we visit our relatives or friends . Then , we can get more “angpau” .

How do you celebrate the new year in your country??
