INDEECOElectricStorageTankHeatersareusedtomaintainorraisethetemperatureofgasesandfluidsintanksfrom-300°Fto1000°Fforavarietyofapplicationsandindustries.Theseheatersaredesignedwithlowwattdensity,opencoilheatingelementsforuniformheatingofeventhemosttemperaturesensitivematerials.Theopencoilheatingelementconsistsofheavygaugenickel-chromiumalloywiresupportedbyceramicinsulatorsthatarefastenedtoastripofheavysheetmetal.Theopencoilheatingelementcanbereplacedwithoutdrainingthetank.
Theheatingelementsareinstalledin3”NPSpipesofsufficientwallthicknesstopreventthepipefromdistortingfromtheheatgenerated.Multiplepipesareprovidedasrequired.Theheaterismountedtothetankbyoneofthreemethods:ANSIflangemount,adapterboxmountorwithacustomrectangularflange.
