Te Village hosted our annual event with the Taos Opera Institute Wednesday, June 27th. Te landscaping was groomed to perfection. Te performers were talented and lively. Te food was delicious with a special fair for presentation. And lastly, the crowd was full and content. While living here at TRV she made many friends and shared with all of us her vast knowledge of art, quilting and life experiences. We all miss her wonderful smile, her story telling and amazing words of wisdom. As a community, we are grateful to have had such a special person in our lives and our hearts go out to her family and friends. Again, we’ll miss her but we know her sparkle will always remain with us. As you know we have been in the process of rebranding the property with new imagery, marketing materials and a refreshed logo. We are now proud to announce that the new website is now live and available for your review. IN MEMORIAL Taos Retirement Village is proud to host the annual Fiestas de Taos Kickof Party sponsored by the Taos Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, July 18th from 5:30-7pm in the Lower Courtyard. According to the website this is “a centuries old festa celebrating the gathering of generations to delicious cuisine, traditional music, and fellowship, while honoring the cultural uniqueness of Taos.” As we welcome the community to our Village, of course Chef Doris and the Dietary staf are making certain the crowd feels welcome with a tempting variety of chips and salsas, with drink from Sangria (non- alcoholic) to mint water. Please help us celebrate this important Taos tradition. FIESTAS DE TAOS – VIVA!
