MOVING TAP FORWARDI am so honored and excited to be the TAP President this term! And frankly, a bit awed. This ground-breaking organization has always been at the forefront of innovation and change. From Serge Talbot’s revolutionary idea of bringing us together, to the industry’s first Guaranteed Departures brochure, to a brilliant appointment-format at TAP Dance, and the only industry-reliable metrics system: Travel Metrics®, TAP has always been ahead of the curve.
Those are hard acts to follow! So, I see my task as “Moving TAP Forward” – keeping TAP focused on the next innovation. When we gather these great minds, these innovators and entrepreneurs start working towards the same goal and amazing things happen. We cannot, and will not, rest on our past accomplishments. Innovation is in our DNA!!
The diversity of industry experiences and products each tour operator partner brings to TAP is our strength, and that absolutely includes our PPTP partners. The Travel Alliance Partners is greater than the partnership of tour operators. It is an industry-wide partnership. We learn from one another and grow together.
Without our PPTP partners, we have nothing to sell. And without you, tour operators would get little sleep. When one of the TAP tour operators gives you a group, it’s like handing over our baby. Because of this partnership and because of your commitment to learn about our business, we can all sleep knowing we are much more than a financial transaction. We are partners.
One of the very best aspects of our meetings this week is our opportunity to learn about each other’s business in a way no other industry show can provide. You will have an advantage over your competitors and the partners will have more confidence in you.
Thanks for helping Move TAP Forward!
Nick Calderazzo, CTP
President, Travel Alliance Partners®

Leisure West Tours & Cruises Lee Dahl & Joan Fields We arrange travel packages for groups, offer receptive services, and provide tour guides for Colorado and the Southwest. Working with historical groups and museums has allowed us to provide tours with strong educational components. Experiential tours for birding (America’s fastest growing hobby) and geology have been two of our most popular. We custom-design tours for general sightseeing, high adventure, Railroads, geology, Eco-tours, agri-tours, and just about any other special interests. We enjoy the challenge of finding the unusual opportunities and venues. Living in Colorado, and intimately knowing the Western States, gives us an advantage in working here, as well as sharing this bountiful playground with others. We have many repeat clients because of the personalized service we offer.

We want to connect you to new cultures and cuisines, fascinating people and out of the way places. Main Street Experiences is dedicated to the idea that tours should go beyond just sightseeing.
