News from 3-6 Students in 3-6 have been working hard re-searching, planning and writing their travel journals for the CWA Competition. Thanks to the wonderful COLA that we have at TPS, students were still able to enjoy tennis today in this blustery weather. Miss Divall
News from K-2 This week in the K-2 room, the children have been learning how to tell the time using analogue clocks. The children made their own clocks to practice telling the time and are very proud of their work. In literacy the students are learning how to write informational texts and have been discussing the difference between fact and fiction. In class the children have been discussing different flags and their meanings, we talked about the Aboriginal flag and it’s importance to the Aboriginal people and created flags.
A reminder that library is on Tuesdays, if children wish to borrow they will need to bring a library bag. Home readers will be checked and changed regularly. If you require a new home reading folder or reading log, please let either Miss Dyer or Mrs Casey know.
