Hello and welcome to the South Taranaki KidzBiz, the comprehensive one stop brochure for all Council organised School Holiday Programmes going on throughout the District.
Inside you will find everything that the Council has on offer these school holidays at its LibraryPlus centres, the Hāwera Aquatic Centre, TSB Hub and the Happening Holidays!
To book any activity, please contact the facility running the activity directly (eg if it is swimming at the Hāwera Aquatic Centre - give them a call, or if it is a craft at Ōpunakē LibraryPlus, then they will take your registration.) Please Note Happening Holidays bookings are taken at the South Taranaki i-SITE.

basketball season.

Get on the bus for a day trip to New Plymouth! Start off with a visit to
Brookland’s Zoo, stop off at Burger King for lunch, then head along to
Bowlarama for bowling + mini put! Please bring money for lunch and socks

Design a A2 fantastic fantasy poster using collage, stencils, markers & much more.

WONDEROUS WATERCOLOUR MAGIC* Time: 2.30pm - 4pm Venue: Hāwera Art School 41 Princes Street, Hāwera Cost: $12 Age: 5 years +
Learns the magic of watercolour. Paint the planets & create unique stencil art.

SWIM AND SLIDE COMBO* Time: Anytime from 1pm – 5pm Venue: Hāwera Aquatic Centre Waihi Road, Hāwera Cost: $5 Age: 8 years +

Hāwera Water Tower Night Climb
5.30pm - 7pm Monday 19 April 2021
Come and watch the sun set over Hāwera from 45.72 metres high. Bring your own torch - Adult $2.50, Child $1.00, Family $6.00. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
