Steps to reduce the cost of productionCost of Explosive:-

Explain the present cost of explosive per tone and invite suggestions from coal cutters and shot firers to reduce the explosive cost per tonns.

Meetings to be conducted with all supervisory staff regarding reduction of explosive cost per tonn, to improve the out put per drill shift and shots per drill.

Page 16: Target committee review meeting

Target Committee Review Meeting 2016-2017

Implement the designed blasting pattern to avoid the excess use of explosive. Surprise checks by Supervisors and officers per tallying of explosives. To increase the powder factor.

Cost of Power:- Changing the haulage circuit in No.1 Seam to save the approximately 4.5 lakhs of units by removing the 4R 150 HP hauler,

17L 40HP endless hauler and reduce the manriding running hours. By the cleaning the sumps, increasing the sump capacity and avoiding overflow of water. To arrest the delivery leakages. Stoppage of equipment during idle time. To reduce the power cost interdiction of high capacity pumps example 350HP.

COST of Store:- Developing cost conscious among employees. Avoiding material abusing. Procurement of quality material. Proper testing of material at mine level. Advance planning. Ensuring the quality and quantity at mine level.

To reduce the over all cost of production:- Improving the SDL out put 110 tonns to 120 tonns. By increasing G-5grade 450 tonns to 600 tonns. Instead of G-11 ROM separating as G-10 Round and G-11 slack in which expected 800 tonns from 1Seam (nearly 300 Tons G-

10 round and remaining 500 Tons G-11 Slack & 600 tons G 5 Grade dispatched) we get extra Rs 400 per tones. Avoiding coal dumping in the mine. Implementing the Wage incentive plan and spot incentive schemes to all workmen for improve the production. Outsourcing the roof bolting activity and induced hole drilling in underground.
