that takes up the whole poster and even covers a section of the title, the picture is of the

film “The Hobbit An unexpected journey” which was a very successful film selling over

100 million copies it was soon followed by two other films and has an extremely big fan

base so a lot of people will recognise the picture also by looking at the other Empire

Girl talk is under the genre off Children's lifestyle you can tell this by looking at the use

of colour of colours and pictures, they have used very bright colours and a lot more pic-

tures than words the pictures are mainly pictures of famous or well known people to the

children reading, the publisher of Girl talk magazine is Immediate media co they work

with a wide range or genres and categories from parenthood to sports, the price of this

magazine is £3.99 and there target audience is girls ages 7-12 due to the context of the

magazine e.g. “how to make best friend bracelets” and the people who feature on/in the

magazine famous people that could be seen as role models towards the young audience.
