Our digipak will use a variety of colours, as it does so in the actual music video itself. Although the theme of the song is quite dark, according to the lyrics, we have juxtaposed it by using colourful lighting, as the background in many of the shots is black. Similarly, for the digipak, we have decided to use a colourful theme for the back of the digipak. On top of that, we have decided to use a picture of the male singer (Nathan) holding a female’s hand; whether it is the famous girl or his present lover, we have not decided yet. Besides this, there will be a list of the singer’s other songs written on the left-hand side, to make it look like a realistic digipak, in the font “Arial Black”, however this is not confirmed yet.

On the front side of the digipak, we are planning to use a colourful theme for the front as well. We are planning to use a mid-shot of Nathan looking directly into the camera. Behind him there may be a bright blue background. His facial expression on the front will show that he is quite serious and quite “disturbed” with his relationship confusion. The reason why we chose a colourful theme and a facial expression that contrasts to it is because we are trying to show the audience that despite everything great going on in his life (him having a “better partner as he states that “and I bet you didn’t know that I’m in love with her”).

Alternative idea to either front or back side. The trees in the front barely have any leaves, which represents the emptiness he feels in his life “without” the actual person that he loves, as she is just a fantasy.
