What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
HD KODAK CAMERA
I hadn’t used this type of camera before, It’s HD so the quality of the camera is really good and clear. However it isn’t that great at focusing which is it’s only downside.
Apple Mac
Before coming to media studies I had never used Apple Macs before. Their really good to use because the picture quality is really good and the big screen means you can do more things at once. However they often freeze showing us the colour wheel of death which is irritating but apart from that it’s really quick.
Tripod
A tripod is really easy to use and although not a technology is plays a
major role with the camera keeping it straight and balanced without wobbling.
Photoshop
I used Photoshop to create my ident of the girl playing the piano with
different effects. I had used Photoshop before but found it very confusing but after a lesson discovering the tools it had to offer I knew how to use it well.

finished opening sequence.
We also looked at other similar opening
sequences to get an idea of what we want ours to
be like.
For task 5 we annotated over our video as it was a
creative and simple way to do it.
This is Garageband we used this to sort out all the sound
in our movie including dialogue and music
We also used this for Foley sounds and to enhance
dialogue.
This image shows the overlaps we have with all
the sound and the blue dots show where we have enhanced the sounds.
It’s good because you can see the video at the same
time as editing it.
This is the website we used to download out theme song (copyright free) it was simple to use and download the music of our choice, we spent a few lessons on this website trying to
find the perfect song for our movie and settled with “Slept in late” by The Wimps.
