TAS Market MapI N D I C A T O R

Our #1 Free Profiling Indicator!

WHAT IT DOESThe TAS Market Map delivers volume-at-price "profiles" as a horizontal

histogram layover that makes it easy to identify the relative distribution of

the highest volume price zones known as "value areas . " The use of our

proprietary color-coded cues allows the user to accurately identify these

distinct zones easier than outdated letter-based indicators . TAS Market

Map reveals clearly i f markets are l ikely to trade sideways or vertically .

RED Lines: The zone of prices known as the "value area" that contains approximately

70% of the volume transacted over the period analyzed. It is a popular area for

commercial and institutional participation.

PURPLE Lines: The zone of prices in the first tier "outside of value" that contains less

volume-at-price than the red zone, but more than the blue zone. While there still is

willingness for traders to transact in this zone, it represents a minority share of volume.

BLUE Lines: The zone of prices where there is the least relative volume transacted

and there is little interest of commercial participation. These zones are commonly

referred to as "runaway gaps" or "rejection tails."

YELLOW Lines: This line (or lines) represent the "Point of Control" (POC) and reveal

where the most volume has transacted over the period analyzed.

GREEN Lines: These lines represent lower volume breaks and referred to as

"valleys." They may appear within a zone or in between differing zones.

INSIDE THE VALUE AREA: When the market is inside the "value area" RED zone,

markets are considered in balance and are likely to trade sideways or horizontally. The

upper part of the red zone will serve as resistance and the lower portion will be support

when the market is contained within this defined value area.

OUTSIDE THE VALUE AREA: When the market closes outside of

the "value area" RED zone, markets

are considered out of balance and

are likely to trade vertically in

breakout mode. The upper and lower

parts of the value area red zone will

now serve as support or resistance

respectively.

WHAT IS AN ALLIGATOR JAWS SETUP? This popular chart formation occurs when

there are two distinct and well-defined volume accumulation zones that create the

appearance of the side profile of an alligator with its mouth open. The lack of volume in

between the two jaws creates a volume gap and provides a high-probability trading

opportunity if the market moves back through the volume gap (open mouth).

Sample Strategy: * ENTRY: 1st bar close back inside the open alligator's mouth.

* STOP LOSS: Initial stop on the other side of the value area (RED zone).

* TARGET: 1st target at 50% penetration, 2nd target just before other jaw line.

MULTIPLE MAPS: One of the unique features of the TAS Market Map is the ability to

plot multiple volume profiles on a single chart. This provides valuable historical volume-

at-price information that can be used to project price targets and future support and

resistance levels beyond the most recent profile. The user can define how many Maps

they want on the chart and the number of bars of analysis contains within them.

SETTING UP MULTIPLE MAPS: In the TradeStation TradingApp Store, the TAS

Market Map defaults to showing 3 Maps when applied to the chart (see Settings

section of this manual). However, if you are using an alternate DLL version you may be

required to apply separate instances of the indicator and adjust the following settings.

Bar1: How many bars from

present analysis starts.

Bar2: How many bars from

present analysis stops. The Result: In this example, you'll have 3 separate instances of the TAS Market Map

listed as applied studies, each with different settings for Bar1 and Bar2.
